This is the best tasting HCI I have ever had! You can swallow a capsule whole and wait for results. Or you can open a capsule, pore the contents into a small glass of very warm water, easily mix it, then drink it for faster results. The flavor is pleasingly citrus. The prickly pear and olive leaf sooths an upset stomach and makes the bloating go down. I'm allergic to the fungus that all enzymes are made from, so it makes me sleepy. I have tried several HCl products, this one is by far the most pleasant without issues for me.NOTE: If you really have a gas issue the best and safest thing to take is some ground fennel powder mixed in warmed water. Drink that. Works in 5 to 10 minutes -fast and safe with no side effects and no drug interactions.

It has solved my hyperacidity problem.Only thing is whenever Amazon sends anything that has cardboard packaging i receive them in Shredded or Crushed condition. I am so frustrated and don’t know how to inform Amazon about this problem.

Without regular use of this product I suffer gut pain, bloating, gas, and constipation. Have tried a gazillion other supps but panned them for either ineffectiveness or stomach irritation.

I had terrible, abnormally, violent acid reflux after being on asthma medications, because I have have predisposition for acid reflux. I was in a tough spot where I gave up my asthma meds to control the reflux. Obviously that made my situation worse as I couldn’t breathe.The moment I started using these Betaine HCL pills, I was able to use as much of the asthma medications as I needed without getting reflux. Sometimes I will have acid tasting burps, but that’s because I should be taking more than 1 betaine hcl capsule. In the future, I might increase the dose, but things are well as they are now.If I miss a dose, I will definitely get undesirable results, so I’m 100% certain it’s these betaine hcl pills that are helping. I can’t thank this brand enough for making these!!They gave me my life back. Last year I tried a brand called Solaray and those never worked. So I stopped looking for betaine hcl since that bad experience. But these have completely changed my opinion on Betaine HCL. It works and especially from this brand!

I bought this for my nighttime heartburn. It is mainly to help people who have a LOW acidic level. If you do NOT have a problem with low stomach acid it will make your heartburn worse. I found out the hard way.UPDATEDI did not request a refund but Seller sent one anyway. Great company and will buy from them again as they obviously stand by their products.
