VISM by NcStar Tactical Back Pack

Ok. I gave it 5 Stars, in reality they should have halves, because the pack is 4.5 Stars. 5 Would mean the best thing ever, and it isn't that, although, at $30.00 I think it's a tremendous value, So 4.5 rounds up to five. This bag makes the perfect 72 hour bag. I recently took it on a primitive camping, the trip was two nights and three days. And I would say, I really put the bag through its paces. The main compartment interior is spacious, with a divider for your hydration system, it easily accommodated my 2L Camelback, and due to the D ring on the shoulder strap, the Camelback straw stayed nicely in place. The main compartment easily housed three days worth of clothes and a waterproof bag, a full set of rain gear, a mess kit, and two canisters of propane fuel. Additionally, there's a zippered compartment on the interior, that held a full roll of garbage bags, and a full roll of 1 gallon Ziploc bags. The largest outside compartment on the front of the bag neatly held a large first aid kit, six chem lights, and various other small gear. The other front pouch held several aluminum tins for cooking/cleaning, and more misc. small gear. Each of the small pouches also held a considerable amount of gear. For example, one pouch held all my fire starting gear, which included a pack of cotton rounds, 200 yards of Jute twine, a magnesium striker, to Bic lighters, a folding magnifying glass, and a case of waterproof matches. So there are plenty of pockets, and tons of space in this pack. Additionally, each of the four small side pouches has a clasp, with webbing that was long enough to secure my tent to one side and my iso Mat to the other. I then hung might e-tool from one set of clasps and my hatchet on the other side. Th MOLLE webbing is a great feature, and is well-made. From the bottom webbing I hung my sleeping bag. the waist belt fit me well, I have a 34 waist, and it seemed like it could be adjusted to be much larger. it's made of nice wide webbing, and from it I hung my Camp Saw and my Leatherman. I mounted a Becker BK2 on the shoulder strap and it held nicely. The zippers are high quality, and the material proved to be durable. I hiked over 12 miles in three days with the pack, and it fit comfortably with at least 60 pounds in it. I would highly recommend this bag to anyone. Although I typically wouldn't use it for backpacking, it makes a great 72 hour bug out bag. Especially for the price.

I have had the bag for about two weeks now, and have used it a few times for small things, but wanted to wait until I really used it to write a review. Today I took it on a 3 mile hike, and threw very thick woods. The bag was perfect, there were plenty of limbs and such that got hung on it, and the bag still looks brand new, didn't hurt it a bit. It was very comfortable, especially after I got all the straps just right, and didn't move around at all. There was plenty of room for anything I could have ever possibly needed with room left over. In the main compartment I had a medium sized first aid kit, 50 shotgun shells, 100 rounds of .40 S&W, and 6 bottles of water. In the lower front compartment I had a spare full size .40 in a holster with an extra mag, could have easily doubled that with room still left. In the upper front compartment I had 100ft of para-cord, a flashlight, a 6" all in one tool, and 2 pocket knives. In the four smaller compartments on the sides I had a tourniquet, a large ace bandage, a pocket size first aid kit, a compass, 2 bags of chips, a pair of pliers, a pair of scissors, a lighter, a compass, and a pocket size case of 8 earplugs. I also easily attached a machete case to the left strap, witch came in very handy, and also easily attached my 870 to the side of the pack witch was also great. All of that in the middle of very thick woods, slid down a hill and even did some running, and this bag was perfect for it. All the zippers work great, and buckles can for sure hold plenty of weight. I would recommend this bag to anyone, I believe it would be perfect for any needs, I am planning to buy at least a couple more, and im very eager to try more products from NcStar.

I thought this was a steal at $25! This is a well made bag, with a lot of space and lots of pockets. The main compartment can hold my boots, half face mask, helmet and goggles. There two secondary pockets on the front that also can hold a bunch of stuff and there two small pockets on each side (4 total) of the bag that can hold smaller stuff.On the inside of the main compartment is a zipper pouch that can hold stuff as well. The bag has molle straps on the front and also on the bottom of the bag.There are adjustable straps for the chest and for the waist so the bag is very secure. There are also straps that can wrap around the front to hold and tie down additional stuff if needed, I thought that was a nice touch.Overall, I thought I got a lot for $25, and I like that the bag is well made and strong, and the zippers are good quality. Sometimes you sort of gamble when you order online because you cant see the product first hand before you buy, this is one of those items where I feel like the gamble paid off and I got a good deal for an awesome item. To be fair, I have seen nicer bags with a lot more perks, but I'm using this bag for my airsoft gear and its perfect for that. I will also be using this bag for hiking and camping. Love it!
