Hipa753-06288 Carburetor for Troy Bilt TB35EC TB2044XP TB2040XP TB2MB TB430 String Trimmer Murray M25B M2560 MS2550 MS2560 MS9900 Remington RM430

This kit has everything I needed in it. The trimmer I put it on would not rev up. After getting this installed it was running great.

I got my new carb and had it installed in just a few minutes. it was running after a couple pulls. it sat and idled perfect. I left it to warm up and came back about 5 minutes later and it had died. One pull and it was running again. When running at high speed it was over reving. I got out my trusty driver and it wouldn't fit. wrong format. I started it up a few more times and was careful to not run too fast and did a little cutting. it seemed ok but then cut off again. I took it back to the bench and double check that there were no issues. Start it back by pushing the primer and it would run a minute then die. wouldn't start without priming first then die quickly.I sent an email to the vendor and explained. They said sorry about that I will give you either $8 or send you a replacement for free. it will take about a month to get the replacement. Note that I have bought several carbs from this company and never had an issue until now. I thought about it over night and decided to try to get a replacement through Amazon. They gave me an option to get a full refund or a replacement carb. I only needed to send the other one back. I needed the carb so took the replacement. they sent a free return label. The replacement showed up in a couple days. Installed it and worked ok Still had the funky adjustment screws but I had ordered a set that had the correct one. I adjusted the high speed screw and it runs pretty well. I couldn't get it perfect. I think that the engine is pretty worn out so may not get it right ever. it is good enough to last for a while longer though.My take on the situation is the vendor has always given me good products so I never saw this side of them. Amazon on the other hand stepped up and took care of me. With all the vendors selling these carbs, I think I will look at different ones for now. I did think it odd though that they had me send a carb back that actually has gasoline in it. It had been running before. I got as much out my using the primer as I could but there was still a small amount in it. I wrapped it up well. watching the tracking and will be happy when it is safely delivered.

I liked everything about except there’s no tool to fine tune it. I have apparently every adjustment tool but not this one. Runs good out of the box but I know it could be tweaked. Also see a lot of guys struggling with the new fuel lines installation into the tank. A little tip that you might find helpful is to cut the end of the line your installing in a long vertical cut the slip the pointed side through and retrieve with needle nose pliers on the inside of tank , pull it through then make your final cut for filter install. Hope this help some one.

Definitely a great buy, particularly for the money. It made a poor running string trimmer purr like a new one. The nice side benefits were new fuel lines, gas and air filters, and primer bulbs, 2 of each. The delivery was quick, faster than I expected, considering the constraints from the pandemic. The only negative was the lack of a mixture control tool, and none of the mixture control tool sets matched the screws on the carburetor. Fortunately, it is dialed in well at the factory, and it wasn't needed. Other than this shortcoming, it is a great product.

This is a great product as it make my Troy-Bilt trimmer run like new but here are a couple of things to note.Be sure to notice what male fitting the black hose comes off of and write it down. I could not get the black hose in the tank so I reamed out the hole slightly with a drill. Be careful it is still tight as you don't want it to leak gas but you have to get in into the tank. I left the green tube form the original car on mine as it looked fine. I guessed which side was the black and which side was the green and had a hard time starting the trimmer, also it cut off after I took off the choke. I noticed that the 'bulb" was not filling up and reversed it and it worked great after that. Also, make sure the fuel take-up lays at the bottom on the tank (when it is horizontal) this will also cause it to cutout. The spark plug appears to be too big as it is bigger than the stock one but on close inspection you can see the "firing" part is the same and after checking that the gap would not hit the cylinder head went with it and it worked fine. Buy this, it's great.

Just bought this for my Troy-Bilt 35EC weed eater, after I installed it, it started right up no problems, a week later when it was time to use it it would NOT start, I pulled the spark plug and swapped out the original one and put in the one that came with it and it started no problem. Weed eater ran for about 45 mins. I took a break and picked up the weed eater and now it won’t start at all. I swapped out the new spark plug and put my old one back in and it still won’t start and I did check for spark and both of them have it. Did notice that the spark plug that comes with it is not the correct size it is longer than the original one. Also this carburetor seems not to match the OEM one, it looks like it is backwards of some sort. I am going to try to return it as I paid for a piece of junk. Stay away from this one and keep looking for a different brand. Now I will put my old one back in since it did run, but on full choke only.

Since replacing the carburetor was cheaper than rebuilding the old one, this was a good value. It comes assembled, has 2 extra fuel bulbs, gaskets, plenty of fuel line for fuel line replacement, 2 new fuel filters, air filter element and spark plug. installed, primed and started up! All I need to adjust was the idle speed just a bit.

The carb bolted up perfectly along with spark plug and air filter. But had issues with the hose line. The hose was so brittle that it would split any time you put the fuel filter on. Cut the line 3 times. Finally got a zip tie to hold it. Just have to pray it doesnt fall off. Bought a new blower.
