The image is good and crisp.The lag time between camera and screen is short.The focuser speed is very quick.The focus range is pretty good as it is, but I would like it to go to infinity so I can shoot the calendar to easily mark progress and also shoot the person's face, and I would also like to be able to get a little bit closer to the tooth than it can. The current range is pretty good, but just expand it a little on both ends.The head is small and easy to put in to tight spots, but should be a little more rounded for comfort for the far-back-in-the-mouth teeth.The software is pretty good, but there should be a way to auto-sign-in to the same account every time, and it errors out if you have too many pictures, so I just move them to a different location after I'm done shooting, and delete them all from the tooth cam software.The on/off switch is great.The lights make a nice bright image.The cable is nice and long, but kind of heavy.But the camera is not waterproof. A camera made to be used in the mouth is not waterproof. ... ??!! seriously? ... So you have to use the plastic sheaths. They easily puncture when you put the camera against teeth to steady it, and when you switch your grip on the cam and the sheath wrinkles, the image gets blurred out.I'm tempted to take two stars off for this stupidity, but I checked the competitors and theirs are not waterproof either, so I'll just take one star off.So, everything about this camera is good to great (software, optics, size, lag, focuser, price, focus range) except the stupid lack of being waterproof. Make this waterproof and I would tell all my friends to buy one. In fact, considering this camera is the price of a filling or two, everyone with kids ought to have one, but again, it NEEDS TO BE WATERPROOF. For home use, you could just dip it in mouthwash or rubbing alcohol if you wanted to share it.

One of my friends from dental school recommended this intraoral camera. He had to equip a whole office and could not justify spending several thousand dollars for the bigger well known brands. He spoke very highly of it.I purchased two of them because I was tired of grabbing the one camera I had for every case. I had some trouble integrating it with Dentrix but I also have not spent much time trying. The photos compare with my other camera and it is very efficient to have two cameras stationary in my hygiene rooms. Patients have been receptive to the photos and education of the oral health. Very happy with purchase. Would recommend

I bought this to do valve inspections on brass musical instruments. A friend recommended this model based on its small diameter & ability to fit where I needed it (that's what she said). Although the included installation software is only for PC this camera is also easily Plug & Play on a Mac using the Photobooth program. The clarity & resolution is remarkable! It is far better than I expected! The only downside to it, which is almost insignificant, is that because is the non-Mac software the shutter button on the device itself does not work so you have to use the mouse pad to snap the pictures. Great buy & valuable tool for any brass shop!

This dental camera provides clear and focused dental images. If there is a zoom function, I have not found it. However, the images meet all my needs.The primary issue I have is that the provided movie and image capture software work intermittently on my Windows 7 computer. There are always error messages on start-up indicating that files cannot be found. Usually, but not always, hitting a software ignore button several times will bypass the error messages and allows the software to work. I am still looking for a resolution to this issue.I

Works great for a great price. Software is easy to use. Does not link to dental software but who cares for the price.

works. the click button works some time. some time I have to reset it. the product feels cheap. The imaging software is cumbersome.

I order this product and my computer didnt recognized it, then I put it in different computers and only worked in windows xp, I dont have this windows version so i couldt used it. the seller offer me to return it but my time expire.

Very good quality and easy to use. I remember buying the Accucam 20 years ago for $7,000.....
