Works perfectly for filtering mead
This works perfectly. No leaks or problems. I use it to filter mead and it does an amazing job!

Poorly assembled, and filter didn't fit
The filter was a bit too long to allow the housing cap to seat. Fortunately I bought a pack of filters at the same time, so I had one that fit. The fittings were not assembled with Teflon tape, so they leaked on first attempt, and needed to be reassembled. It's otherwise fine--just have a good filter and Teflon tape on hand to reassemble it before you use it.

Couldn't keep it from leaking!
Great product idea but somewhere along the way quality in production fell short. Despite the O-ring being in place, I could never get the top of the filter housing to not leak under 3 PSI of pressure. I attempted reseating the housing top, filter and o-ring, no luck. As a last ditch effort I even tried using a filter wrench (not included, FYI) and still could not seat well enough to not leak. I have worked with these types of filter housings before in RVs for 10+ years and never had an issue like this. Very disappointing.

Does what it claims and hook up was easy, but cleaning is a pain and you lose some beer that stay in the filter housing
Mine came with all of the hookups needed, but I don't think I'll be using it very often as cleaning and sanitizing it is difficult and you lose the equivalent of 3 or 4 beers (estimate) that stay in the filter when it's done. It did definitely filter the beer as advertised and the final version was nice and clear and free of sediment and yeast, but it wasn't significantly better than beer that has been cold crashed and time has been allowed for sediment to settle out. The only use it will likely get from me going forward will be if I have a batch that I'm trying to rush for a get together.

Poor seal on nearly everything
Needed a lot of help. Poor seal on nearly everything. After some work does a fine job of clearing beer. I'd buy it again hopefully they would take care of this.

leaky connections, does not seal
Leaks around the output fittingsl, tightening doesnt help, very difficult to tighten main fixture to secure. Will need additional work to fix this if I dont return it. Very disappointing given all the great reviews and the price

False advertisement
I did not receive a ball lock fit. Mine came with tube clamps. Very disappointed. I would suggest buying from someone who does not lie in their product description.
