Live yara! It doesn’t last all day though, which is a shame. Will need to top up after a few hours. Also buying this 50ml is great value for money. Would highly recommend!

I've bought few Lattafa perfumes over last couple of years, and one thing they consistently get right is value for money. They offer impressive quality without the designer price tag, and that's one of the reasons I keep coming back to the brand. Yara is a pleasant fragrance with a sweet, creamy floral character and a soft hint of vanilla. It opens with fruity and floral notes before settling into a warm vanilla and musk base, giving it a feminine, comforting feel. For me personally, it's a little sweeter and more floral than I usually like. I tend to prefer richer vanilla-forward fragrances, so although I enjoy wearing it, it isn't one I'd repurchase once I've finished the bottle. That's entirely down to my personal taste rather than the quality of the perfume. The longevity is very good, which jis something I've come to expect from Lattafa fragrances. I can still smell it several hours after applying it, and it performs much better than many perfumes at this price point. The bottle is also lovely and looks much more luxurious than you might expect. If you enjoy soft, sweet floral perfumes with a creamy vanilla finish, I can understand why this fragrance has become so popular. It simply isn't my favourite from the Lattafa range, but it's still a well-made perfume and excellent value for money.

After reading mainly rave reviews about Lattafa Yara on a perfume website, and given that it's so reasonably priced, I decided to blind buy a 50ml bottle. It arrived today (within 24 hours of placing my order) and I'm happy with it. It's not ground-breaking or necessarily head turning, but it's pleasant & I can't imagine anyone being hugely offended by it if they had to be near someone who was wearing it (i.e. in an office, etc!). At first sniff, it immediately smelled like baby powder - a concentrated, liquid version of Johnson's Baby Powder, to be precise - and it was a bit 'dense' smelling, AND it hugely reminded me of another blind buy I bought over the internet a few years ago - Liz Claiborne's Curve Crush, which it's a dupe of, I'd say (and Curve Crush has, I think, been discontinued). As well as that, it reminded me a bit of an Avon perfume from, I think, the 70's or early 80's that was very popular at the time, but I can't remember the name of it! That perfume too smelled VERY baby powder'ish. Yara has lasted for several hours on me so far, and I only spritzed a little on my wrist & dabbed a little of that on my neck and the top I was wearing, so the longevity is pretty good. It's a pretty nice buy for the price, although not necessarily an everyday type of scent for me, but it's likeable, clean smelling & generally inoffensive! The bottle looks a bit cheap, so it would be nice if it was a bit prettier but still, the perfume's the main thing & it's a pretty good one! So, I'm quite happy with my blind buy.!
