When do you use the bubble jet rinse? after printing? not sure i understand how it works?

The Bubble Jet Rinse is used after printing your fabric to seal in the colors printed on your fabric.

Hi Laura difficult to find a definitive answer! There is this: The manufacturer statement regarding this issue indicates that BJS products are to be treated as common household products. It can be opened in the house and you do not need any special precautions to use the product. But we recommend the use of rubber gloves and open windows when using. The product is 85% water and contains many laundry detergent ingredients.

My photo transfer is going into a wall hanging, so won't be washed. do I still need to bubble jet rinse photo. Does rinse prevent sun fading?

I'm not certain about fading. I used the jet rinse because I did a special cloth label for a quilt I made for a veteran's group. Anytime fabric is exposed to sunlight, it can fade over time. Maybe contact the company that makes Jet Set Rinse??

I've read conflicting info on this system with Bubble Jet Set - is it for regular inkjet or dye-based ink jet cartridges? Thanks!

I use an Epson1280 Photo printer and the colors will set, but not as bright as I wanted. So, I added another step prior to the bubble jet set and rinsed it in vinegar water, let it dry and then used the bubble jet rinse. Results were kinda "iffy".
