This cutting board wax is perfect for keeping your boards protected and looking good. I used this on all my cutting boards made of various woods and it worked great. I oil my boards once every few months and use this wax after every few washes. It smells great, It’s all natural and food safe. Soft wax, easily applied and buffed out.

This is great stuff. Most cutting board waxes are just a mixture of beeswax and mineral oil. Some complain about the smell of the beeswax.This one contains those ingredients but also includes a quality carnauba wax and lemon and orange oils. It gives great results with a pleasant light citrus smell.Use it in larger maintenance intervals with a mineral oil conditioner in between periods. You don't need the special applicator, it'll just waste more being soaked up by the sponge and wear out anyway. A paper towel works fine.Though it's not a requirement, I've found hitting it up with a hairdryer on high heat / low blow after applying will melt the wax and let it absorb more deeply into the wood, improving results.I've also used it on wooden utensils and wood-handled kitchen knives. Works great, the knife handles in particular get a luxurious satin look and feel, they're not slick at all.This review is specific to the lemon and orange oil version. I haven't tried the rosemary and lavender version but it sounds like a horrid scent for a cutting board, YMMV...

I wanted a new cutting board and promised myself I would maintain it lol. I got this stuff to help me do just that. It does a fantastic job and leaves my board smelling fresh.

Awesome, healthy product with a wonderful, mild fragrance. Good for my maple cutting board ...and also used on my bathroom's home-made cedar shelves for a satiny, glowing finish that is both nontoxic and beautiful. Totally love this product. A little goes a long way and it is easy to handle (softer and creamier, as compared to hard and waxy). I placed a little on a lint-free rag, and applied to the wood, after staining the cedar wood with a blend of organic black tea, ground coffee and cocoa. It absorbed into the wood easily and quickly. Buffing with a dry, lint-free cloth after about 20 minutes resulted in a warm, glowing finish! Aroma of citrus is beautifully natural, and not artificial as I had feared it might be.

Our new sink came with a wood cutting board. We also had a charcuterie tray that was wood and both had not been treated to protect them from staining or absorbing liquids. I applied the Clark's wood oil first as indicated on the directions, doing two applications and letting it sit on the board for 24 hours each time then finished with a coat of the Clark's Finish wax. They look amazing and now I don't have to worry about stains or food absorption. Great products and it smells amazing!

A bit oily, but buffs on nicely, and smells amazing. Great on wood crafts and cutting boards.
