These drops have dramatically helped my recuperation after Lasik. I had surgery February 2016 and immediately had quite a few issues with dry eyes (still do). I was going through multiple packs of preservative free eye drops each month and I started to feel like I should invest in one of these companies with the amount of money I was pouring into the products. My eye doctor recommended I try this drop to help out with the dry issues. I used it now and then, but I found that the gel was so thick that it blurred my vision for up to 5 minutes afterward, which was highly inconvenient throughout the day as I tried to work and go about my daily business. It also wasn't really helping with the overarching dry eyes issue, though the temporary relief was great, and my eyelashes would stick and clump together.Then my husband pointed out to me that I kept complaining about how dry my eyes felt immediately upon waking up - he said he thought the problem might be that during the day I was lubricating my eyes, but at night I wasn't conscious to do so and so it was exacerbating the problem. He suggested I put it on at night only, before bed and in the middle of the night when I woke up to use the facilities (walnut sized bladder over here) so that it would last and keep my eyes moist while I slept. I thought, "What the heck?" and gave it a try.Friends, this is the magic solution. Put them in at night when you go to sleep, a big healthy drop in each eye and re-apply if you wake up in the middle of the night. You don't have to worry about the blurred vision when you shut your eyes to rest and the gel keeps the eyes lubricated the entire night. Plus the eyelash clumping issue isn't such a problem since when I wash my face in the morning, the gel washes off of my lashes. I went from going through packs and packs of eye drops throughout the day to a pack every 3-4 months. It turned out that the long period of dryness overnight was what was causing the main issue of dryness throughout the day. Having these gel drops in at night has really made a world of difference in terms of post surgery comfort. I tried other drops and they just don't work as well. Highly recommend these if you struggle with dryness at all, post-Lasik or otherwise.

These are the best lubricating eye drops I’ve used. The gel is thicker than all other drops and keeps my eyes lubricated and comfortable since surgery. I won’t be using any other drop and highly recommend these to anyone who suffers from dry eyes.

I have dry eyes, and they used to burn often. My eyes feel better after using these drops, which I'm doing at night just before going to bed. The only reason I'm giving 4 rather than 5 stars is that the quantity of the drops seems a bit light considering the price. One other drawback is that the gel drops blur my vision for five to ten minutes but not so bad that I feel blinded (rather the blurring makes it a bit difficult to focus on TV when I get into bed). I realize that watching TV before trying to sleep isn't recommended, but I watch sports without sound and find it relaxing, so I fall asleep in a matter of minutes most of the time). The good news is that my eyes have stopped burning almost all of the time since I began using these drops.
