In 1997, Brampton Technologies introduced the HF-100 Advanced Grip Tape Activator to eliminate the "Ticking Time Bomb" for both golf facilities and individual golfers. Prior to the development of the HF-100 solution, many people use a non-toxic, flammable grip activator to regrip their golf clubs.

Many alternative solvents are absorbed from the human skin and release smoke that breathe and harm the lungs. Storage and delivery of these volatile solvents is expensive and dangerous due to fire hazards.

"HF" means "HF-100" means "no danger". The HF-100 solves these problems, and is up to 60% more effective at volume than alternative grip activation solutions. It will not emit health-damaging ozone destroying smoke for employees in golf shops and DIY golfers who rip their golf clubs.
