Received chrome not graphite!!
This is my favorite corkscrew but wanted to say that I ordered this thinking it was a graphite color from the picture. That said the reason why this corkscrew is so good is because it has a solid cast handle and strong sharp screw and the double lift mechanism works real nice. Also, I like that the foil cutter is curved so it doesn't slip off as easily. Only "con" is the bottle opener is backwards which is fine if you know but confuses some guests.

It’s not good!
This product is not worth buying, it is very expensive and yesterday it broke in my hand. I bought it four years ago, but because of the covid pandemic, I almost never used the wine opener and yesterday I was very embarrassed when it broke !

Old Faithfull Wine Key - IF you get the genuine Pulltex/Pulltap
Appears to be the real deal. I certainly hope it is based on what I paid for it ($30ish). High quality and it always works. I recommend it, but be careful when ordering. Make sure you're ordering the genuine Pulltap by Pulltex. There are many knockoffs out there and some are hard to tell from the real one. This thing will most likely outlast me, and I drink wine every night!

Appears to be a genuine Pulltex product
There are many copies of the original. I'm happy to report that IMO, this is the real thing. Sadly, I had to return mine as the foil cutter didn't cut was well as my cheap copy...and though it wasn't a deal-breaker, they shipped me an all-chrome model and not the Graphite as advertised. Mine that I'm reviewing here arrived in a little silver-grey thin cardboard box marked "PULLTEX" in white letters on the inside lid and some other graphics on the back of the box. While the return was being processed for this item returned though Amazon Locker, I ordered a replacement directly from Pulltex in Spain (yes I paid more but to put any issues to rest if the faulty one initially received from this seller on Amazon is the real deal I did it, as I had nothing to compare it to... except the $9 copy I have.) IT SEEMS THAT IT IS AUTHENTIC. Pulltex has changed its markings just a bit....where it used to say "patent" in a stamped oval above the maw of the bottle opener, they have moved that marking to the side, alongside the "Pulltex" stamping, on the first stage cork removal leg of the chrome foot; and it now says "Original" in the oval....just like the one I had to return to Amazon here because of the faulty foil cutter, and the PULLTEX logo has been enlarged just a bit unlike what you see here or at their website.... everything else except the packaging (clear plastic box) and the color difference was virtually identical, so mine that is being reviewed here from WineStuff was likely a bulk pack item.In reference to my cheap copy, it works ok, but there are many differences that I won't go into here. But many, easily viewed by observation if you have seen & held the real one.Saying all that to say, if those are asking themselves "IS THIS PRODUCT FROM WineStuff THE REAL THING?"...YES I BELIEVE THIS PRODUCT IS THE REAL THING....PULLTEX Pulltaps. And it's a deal here on Amazon, rather than buying direct from Pulltex. I'm sure mine was a fluke with the bad foil cutter. Would I order this one again from this entity (WineStuff) on Amazon? Absolutely. And likely will again. The return process went speedily. BRAVO WineStuff, and thank you. I'll definitely do business again with you folks. THANKS! So my 4 star rating is 5 stars for Service, 3 for the faulty foil cutter, avgd to 4 stars overall. Value for the money is a clear 5 stars as buying one from the MFG will cost you over 20 bucks more shipped to the USA from Spain....

A functional beauty.
These are absolutely beautiful, and very functional for both wine and beer bottles. They are the absolute best manual screw-type wine cork puller I have ever used. Don't forget it's a 2-stage pull. First step gets the cork going. Second step pulls it all the way out. Be sure you get the real Pulltap though -- there are imitations that are not nearly so functional. So far as I can tell, this is the real deal.

The Pulltap is a very nice tool. The problem with buying these online is that the vast majority are fake low-quality knock-offs made more to look like the real thing than function like the real thing. In ordering this I got an authentic Pulltap and would recommend it. Good luck!

Broke a few days after return deadline - don't buy this!
About a day or two after the deadline to return this corkscrew, it broke. The v-shaped spring that gives tension to opening operations pierced through the top of the corkscrew body as you can see in the picture - the slot on the top is about 3 mm longer than it should be where the break occurred. The v-spring then just popped out. I supposed it's still functional, but come on. It looks nice and worked fine when it did, but I've never had a corkscrew break so fast. I'd like my money back, but apparently I'm a few days too late.

Probably the best waiter style corkscrew
Probably the best waiter style corkscrew, with the simplest implementation of the two stage lever. Very durable and not much to go wrong. Have opened many bottles with ease.

No defrauda.
