What do people use to cover the blade when they aren't using it?

It comes in a pretty nice box which isn't too big (approx. 6" x 2" x 3/4"). I just put it back into the box so I don't dull the blade.

Can you bend the blade for making ears?

The blade will not bend,I find that if you hold the lame at a 45 degree angle when scoring it gives the ear`s effect.Great little tool.

Can the brass holding screws and nuts be reversed for left handed users?

I am left handed but I can use this the way it is. I did take the lower screw out and it probably could be put on the other side. I did notice the side with the nut is enlarged. This may pose a problem when the screws are switched. This could be alleviated by putting some small brass washers over it and then tightening them down. No pull through. The only other thing is once you put the screw on the other side and start screwing them down I'm not so sure it doesn't thread them differently. The fancy brass finger shield will not go back on left handed. This keeps you from slicing your finger if the blade is inserted too far. If you were planning on leaving it on the left side and don't mind the shield being gone, careful of how far you insert the razor, I say go for it! Hope this helps you. I love mine. It is very nice and I love how the blades can be changed instead of just getting duller and duller.
