My second one used the first one for more 25 years
It is my kind of bag , not too big not too small and flexible. The first one I had the shoulder strap wore out from then on it was downhill. This version will not get as much ware and heavy use for I have stopped professional work.

Expensive but worth it
I have had this bag 3 or 4 months now and its fantastic. Its in pretty much daily use carrying a gripped Canon 50D with a couple of "Pro" lenses, a 580EX II flash gun and all the bits and bobs you could need in a "walkabout" bag.Small in size but carries tonnes of stuff, and does it well, with not too much shoulder fatigue unless you really overdo it - the should strap is wide and rubberised and so stays where is should be whilst spreading the weight across a large area.If you intend to carry lots of weight for a long period of time, look into the "postman's should pad" as an optional extra - this should remove almost all the fatigue you might encounter whilst carrying your camera all day long.At a squeeze it will fit a Canon 100-400 dust bucket in one of the two internal lens pockets ... but will not fit in whilst mounted on the camera nor with the lens hood attached. I imagine the 70-200 will fit in it a little more easily, but still not mounted and I doubt with the hood (??).Very hard wearing materials, great access for you to your camera, but not so easy for someone else to get in. All very comfortable and discrete (which is why I wanted one - Crumplers which are nice unfortunately just scream out "steal me!!") ... make sure you remove the Domke labels though if you want to be really discrete. If you want a boxer's mitt type of padded bag do not look at this one - this bag offers more than enough protection for normal daily use, and is smaller because it is not overly padded, but I would not think it will protect your camera and lenses against them being thrown about "expedition style".Overall highly recommended if you are after an "about town" kind of bag ... and at the price Amazon are doing it for right now (£72), its a steal if this is the kind of bag you are after.

this is really good...
i have used domke bags this size for many years and i really like them...they do most jobs with a camera and a few lenses and a flash, whatever, they just hug to your hip and are so simple to use and unobtusive...the canvas ones are a bit like jeans, they fade and fray a bit after many years, which can look cool...this nylon version still looks like new after about a year of daily use...really really well made...i just wish you still got black 501s made to this quality...
