I can hear the sound from one side…Can I use the other side? and how?

To use the other side, just rotate the stem/chestpiece until the chestpiece “clicks” into place and the WHITE indicator dot is aligned with the side you want to use. The stem can be rotated in either clockwise or counterclockwise directions. This stethoscope has a dual head and it is important to have the proper side open that is in use. There is a WHITE dot on the stem to facilitate the identification of the active sound channel. If one side is open, the other side will be closed, preventing sound from coming in through the closed side.
