The knife is significantly lighter than the stanley classic 99 I had been using before buying this. Got it at a steal of a deal so not too disappointed by the issues.The sliding mechanism is somewhat iffy, not smooth at all. If you open the body you'll find 3 spare blades packaged well (these 3 combined with the loaded knife itself are what constitute "4 pieces"). However, if you open the body, you'll have to spend quite some time fiddling around with it to get it to fit properly again. The body also has a somewhat oddly tight fit which is a little off putting but actually helps keep it all together I guess. The paint job isn't particularly even with hints of unsprayed areas here and there, cosmetic only and doesn't affect usage either way so make of that what you will. The blades are nice and sharp.Would I buy it again if I lost this one? Yup, it's a good daily dragger compared to running my Stanley for everything. Will try some cuts and a bit of whittling with it, might come back to update the review, will I though? Well, we may never know
