I am the first person in our village to buy a safety rope. Before that, no one did this, they did not seem to need this security device to protect themselves. A little complex. The instructions were minimal at best. I wound up using the picture on amazon to figure out how to get into it. Once on, I knew this would keep me safe on my extension ladder at about 20 feet in the air. It frees my hands so I can deal with items that require two hands. Once the lanyard is secured properly to the ladder I am quite safe.

Heavy duty, but not easy to put on. It seems way more complicated than necessary

This is a good device for people working at heights or working off the ground. The overall construction is reasonable and the quality is good. The back hook is heavy, which means it's of good quality. Nice product
