Very happy with the design and the operation of this clock. It is completely silent. By that I mean, unless your ear is pressed up against the dial, then and only then would you hear a sIight whirring noise. Who does that? I don't know what they mean by saying "if your hearing is particularly sensitive in a completely silent room you may hear a very quiet whirring" Nonsense. You would have to be a canine to hear the mechanism from any distance. My hearing is pretty good and I am a light sleeper.

Why a 4 star review ? Materials are not up to expectations. Could have imitated retro materials, then FABULOUS! Clock price should deliver superior materials. I’ll keep it anyway, love the look.

I loved the aesthetic, but there's a major disconnect between build quality / materials and price. Ultimately wound up returning it after it died within minutes (literally!) of setting the time and alarm. Would not buy again... would not even request a replacement. It's lovely looking, but junk.

I get many compliments on the adorable clock that’s sitting on my counter providing a pop of orange to my otherwise blue and white and gray decor. Love it. Adorable works great.

This is a very cheap product - I just put battery in and was gentle the plastic back will not return to position so had to tapeI do not recommend this clockNegative stars
