My mother wore this her entire life. She loved it. She recently passed away and I bought this candle for my father and her sisters. We also lit it at the memorial service. Beautiful!

I have been using opium candles for many many years. I was so thrilled to find cortneys candles sold opium sent which is not easy to find. I buy them all the time And now I'm gifting to my daughter-in-law who also loves them. They are simply the best scented candles ever!

This is my personal experience with the item. Maybe I was allergic to some ingredient. Landed in the trash and the symptoms resolved. Money down the drain. Seller refuses refund. How extremely unfair. I have lots of experience with different candles, so I know how to handle them. The amount of soot it was producing was unbelievable. If you want to pollute the air or have lung problems, go ahead and buy it. The smell - nothing special. I have no idea how opium smells, BTW. Except for YSL Black Opium, which I actually dislike. Bought it only cause of good reviews.

Bought as a gift for my mom who loves Opium perfume. The candle Smells amazing! She loves it!

Great product! Smells almost exactly like the YSL Opium perfume. It's a little expensive, but the quality of the product is worth the price. It's still less money than a Yankee Candle and better in my opinion. Scent lasts a long time.
