Beautiful face wash!
The media could not be loaded. This is a lovely face wash which is my skin feeling and looking thoroughly clean but not dry and tight. My skin is slightly sensitive – more so as I get older – but there have been absolutely no adverse effects since using this cleanser. I have been using it morning and night as instructed. You pump out the foam onto damp hands and massage into the skin for 30 seconds, before washing it off with clean water. The packaging is lovely – it comes in a cardboard box with a high end looking pump dispenser which is it easy to use. I also like the fact that it is cruelty free and contains a lot of natural ingredients but seem to agree with my skin type! The current Prime price is £29 which I think is pretty fair for the quality of products that you get , and from the weight of the bottle it seems like it will last a long time. I have also found that a full pump probably is more than is necessary so you can get away with doing less than a full pump each time which will stretch it even further .

Good cleanser
This was better once I ignored the instructions to dampen hands first as the foam deflates fast and it's not as effective. I've now used this on it's own, with a skin brush and a silicone skin brush and it's a decent cleanser but it doesn't make my skin feel very refreshed. It certainly doesn't feel exfoliating in any way, so that's disappointing to me. Putting it on after using a hot cloth is the best method for me, then using my hands as the brushes seem to aggravate the reaction because it does irritate my skin after use. It does state to build up use if that occurs - good advice for sensitive skin as often it's a case of building up tolerance. The irritation isn't increasing with use but I've now got a break out on my chin. I was concerned about that once I saw it contained prickly pear as I have never found a way to incorporate it into my routine without break outs but it could just be that the cleanser is more exfoliating than it feels! There's lots I do like about this skin cleanser - the ethics behind the company and the ingredients are good with 94% naturally derived. There are a few irritants I can get issues with but it's normally the parfum that causes the issue for me - there's no clarification if it's a natural or synthetic one. It is easy to use and remove with water or a hot cloth. There are times you don't want to feel refreshed by a cleanser so it's more suited to evening use for me and I will persevere for another week. Often I need time to adjust to a new product. My normal preferences for exfoliating washes/scrubs are Nip Fab glycolic ones and their wipes too. My go to for cleansing wash used to be Poppy Austin's vitamin c facial cleanser. This isn't as refreshing to my skin as those but it does feel very softening. I will continue and see if I can get past the irritation and break outs. I will say I need to use a lot more of this than with other products so it may not last very long or I need to use less than I feel it needs. This is often an issue caused by foaming products as you think you need more than you do.My honest opinion so far is 3.5 but I can't give that so I've gone to 4 as 3 would be too low a score for this. For me the price doesn't match the product so far but my opinion may change after I've used it for a month (if I can).

Not very exfoliating & expensive for what it is.
This face wash came in very premium looking retail packaging and inside you get a 150ml pump-action, capped bottle. As I man who likes to look after his skin, I was keen to give this a go.You do not need to really do more than one pump, although is my picture I have done two, to dispense enough to give you face a wash. The smell is very pleasant indeed, with fruity notes to it. The foam that comes out is quite light, it does not have a mousse like consistency.I applied it to wet hands/dry face, and it lathers nicely but not overly so. Now, this is described as a “foaming facial exfoliator” but I personally could not really detect any exfoliation effect. It could be that it is so light, I cannot pick it up.After washing, my face felt smooth and not as though it had been stripped, leaving it dry. I have been using it for a couple of weeks now and really like it but not at the £29.00 price point.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Thanks for reading.NB. For a sizing guide, squares in photos are 1cm.

Youthful, bright skin
I have some other products from this brand and I love them all so I was very excited to try this range from Skinican. To start the packaging looks good, the bottle is sturdy and pump action works really well to dispense the product.I followed the instructions and used one or two pumps of the product onto damp hands. The cleanser comes out as a foam and I apply it to my face in circular motions for about 30 seconds - avoiding the eye area. Then rinse off with tepid water. I can very honestly say that my skin is so bright & clear after using this cleanser. I use it every day, either in the morning to wash the night away (any residual creams etc from my night time skincare regime). I also use it as the second cleanse when I double cleanse - for me this cleanser is made for this. It's not a makeup removing cleanser, which for me is fine as I use a hot cloth cleanser for any makeup removal. This cleanser contains fruit acids and enzymes that dissolve away dead skin cells. It cleanses, clears and eliminates the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I do believe m skin is looking fresher and more youthful so that is an amazing result from this cleanser.I would absolutely recommend and will look into purchasing more from this range of Skinician. Love it!!
