Love the smell and texture.

Too heavy not lightweight enough

I received this item from the Amazon Vine Program.This moisturiser came in a 50 ml tube. It contains Vitamin E + Zinc and SPF 30. Vitamin E is an anti oxidant that prevents damage caused by free radicals. Zinc on the other hand is an anti inflammatory preventing pimples. I love when a moisturiser has an SPF. SPF protects skin from UV rays - UVB and UVA. It prevents pre-mature ageing and wrinkles.How I use it: I use it AM and PM. I apply it after I double cleanse my face and applying my actives (actives PM only). The product is light weight and is not greasy. Compared to the other moisturisers I use this one is matte.I also use this as my primer when I wear make up. Plus it has SPF so it doubles as sunscreen too.Cons for me:It contains perfume in the ingredients. I prefer skin care to be fragrance free.Not really a con but it would have been better if SPF is 50.Overall I love this product because it does not only act as a moisturiser but it also doubles as a primer and a sunscreen. Although SPF is only 30 it’s still better than no SPF.4 stars.

This is one of the best mattifying moisturisers I have tried. It has a lovely texture and a pleasant, light aroma and really does take away shine When I used it before applying make up I didn’t bother with a primer as it seemed to smooth out my skin and take away the areas of high colour. For me, I still have some areas that are really dry so I used a moisturiser for dry skin there, but it’s no drama as I am used to doing that as I have a skin of extremes! When I first applied it I didn’t put any make up on as I was pleased with the fact that the shine was taken away and my high colour areas were toned down. When I did wear make up I liked the fact that the moisturiser sank into my skin so I didn’t need to wait too long before applying foundation etc. Another benefit is that the moisturiser includes SPF30 as well as containing no harsh chemicals.I have tried other moisturisers that claim to be mattifying but often they seem to almost coat your skin in a heavy cream or be the other extreme by being a watery lotion, neither of which works. This one does what it promises in keeping your skin soft and mattified. I like the fact that it is lightweight yet your skin still feels nourished and, whether you wear make up or not, it helps you to look your best.

Not very mattifying on my combination skin and I had shine breakthrough quickly even on a cold day. The texture is also a bit tacky on me, I expect that's the SPF 30. This goes on smoothly but the effects are disappointing.

Brilliant cream.Not too thick.Rubs in well.Skin feels lovely.No overpowering scent.

This is quite a thin lotion with a strong chemical smell similar to tea tree or menthol. It's easy enough to apply and it does give my skin a matt appearance, but it's also slightly tacky until it dries, or is absorbed completely – I'm not sure which. As for a “purifying” effect, I've yet to see any evidence of this.On the plus side, it is 100% vegan and cruelty free.The cost is just silly - £24.50 for this 50ml tube? I don't think so.

This is a great moisturiser by Skinician. It applies smoothly and absorbs easily into the skin and disappears really quickly. My face feels hydrated and plump, with no dryness at all. It smells lovely and leaves the skin matt with no oily sheen. Best of all it has SPF30 so ideal for protecting the delicate skin of the face.
