🥵After struggling all day to remove a very old bush root ball, I ordered one of these via next day delivery. 🚚 Whereas before, I couldn’t get to the deep roots with my spade, iron bar or mattock, I used the large auger to dig down each side of a root allowing me to get my tree croppers in. 👍 Job completed in lest than an hour 😊 In terms of quality and sturdiness, I’d say I gave it a tough old test (inc encountering the odd stone 😬) hence 5 stars.

What a saver of effort. Used with rechargeable drill. Used to place bamboo sticks and then to plant runner beans. The larger diameter tool was use for both operations. Be aware that both augers will 'snatch' if you are not careful, and could damage your wrist. Wish I'd bought these years ago!

Works well but would be better if it had a side gripping bar

Was dubious would work but goes through hard ground with stone to take posts, remove rotten stubs etc. use the small drill first. Drill gently and all the earth comes up. Much better than banging in with a mallet

Absolute marvel. I had a dozen of plants to plant out, and another dozen of bulbs to plant. I have been putting this work off for weeks because of the idea of digging holes in clay soils. Meanwhile, my pants were trying to escape their pots hrough the drainage holes. One I put the large dril bt to work, it all took me max half an hour. I am also goin to use the lasrge one to dig in and level up a new raised bed (corner legs) that sits on uneven and sloped surface. The bits sit well in the drill. Once washed and wiped dry after use, I do not expect them to rus. It is all about maintenance of your tools.

I can't compare this to other products as I've never used anything like this before. It was great to receive 2 different sizes. I needed to dig a hole for an in ground gate latch. I was really trying to keep my expectations in check, my drill is cheap, I have all sorts of hand and back problems, I've never done anything like this before, I didn't know if there was cement or giant rocks down there... this tool made it so easy! I poured water over the area to soften the soil then used the small one first and then the big one and I was able to make a decent size 22cm-ish deep hole in less than 20 minutes with minimal struggles, fill it with cement and a pole, and emasculate every man I've ever met. All in a days work. 10/10.

The extra length of the Auger enabled me to add compost under the tomato's that I was planting. This tool enabled me to plant 100 tomato's in 4" pots in about 3 hours. It was most effective in hard soil with a hammer drill.

J’ai reçu deux tarières mais je n’ai utilisé que la plus petite pour le moment. L’ensemble est très solide, les soudures sont nombreuses et épaisses, ce qui devrait donner des années d’utilisation sans problème. À l’usage c’est une vraie petite merveille. Les trous pour la plantation de bulbes ne prennent qu’une fraction de seconde à faire et on peut en créer énormément dans un court laps de temps. J’ai percé mes trous dans un sol glaiseux et contenant beaucoup de racines avec simplement une perceuse de 4 ampères. Je n’ai pas essayé ces forêts avec une perceuse à batterie mais j’imagine que ça devrait bien fonctionné. En tout cas, à acheter sans hésitation si vous avez beaucoup de trou à faire.

I love this auger drill bit, it breaks the dirt up really fine. Just what I needed for planting my shrubs. Very sturdy. I would buy it again.
