ChippewaMen's Heavy Duty Tough Bark Waterproof Insulated Boot

I owned a pair of Chippewa's in the 70's and they were the best pair of boots I ever had. They lasted about 20 years of hard wear. I tried other boots but could never find a brand that had the comfort and warmth of the Chippewa's. When I finally found them again in my size (15 EE) I bought them. My only issue is the description of them as an American Tradition dating back to 1901 followed by the word imported, which I missed when I ordered. I will keep the boots and hope I get the quality I got from my old MADE IN AMERICA pair from the good old days.

These boots are one of the best on the market! My boys are very hard on shoes and boots! Chippewas or the only brand that last them over a year. The construction is comparable to nine as we have found in the market. Not only are they Dora bowl, but they are very comfortable as stated by my son and my husband. I have tried to purchase less expensive brands but my efforts have been futile! I only end up buying the Chippewas anyway as the other brands fall apart quickly. They Also come in a wide variety, a style for just about anyone!

Did not realize boots were China made. Tried on left boot fit was fine , tried on right boot barely got foot inside , checked the tongue label and it stated the correct size. Pulled a tape measure rightt was 1/2 inch smaller and 1/4 inch narrower than the left boot, Also there is visible stitching underneath the toe of boot (where foot meets ground). Maybe for assembly and glue set reasons, maybe not .

Boots seem pretty stiff. Color is def not what the picture is. I put a pic of the actual color here. Seem to be well made and are actually comfy. Concern as to the bend hitting top of my foot while walking. Hoping that goes away with breaking in.

This brand name speaks for itself

This boot is definitely well made but it is a HEAVY boot. Technology today allows for boots to be much lighter but as with everything you will $$$$ pay for that luxury.

best work boots for the price, can get HOT in the summer, just make sure you wear the correct socks for the season.
