I was under the impression this was a larger, in size, assortment. When the mailman dropped it off at my house it fit in my mailbox. I was taken aback. The hard lures are awesome and there is a few barrel swivels and some hooks and some clip style connectors. What I wasn't expecting was the soft lures are very small. I guess the picture gives the impression that they are larger than they are. Or it was just the way my mind looked at it. The crawdad soft lures are pure white and not the color shown in the picture. That in itself will make a big difference in the way they attract bites. The other soft lures are pretty small and great for panfish. I feel like I could have gotten a better deal somewhere else. But its a great set for a beginner or a small child.

I bought this for my 10 year old son. If you are a seasoned fisherman (or woman), I would not buy this. I like it for my son because when he gets a snag I am not in the water swimming around trying to find my lurers.

This set of fishing lures are really suited for the beginner. You will not feel bad if a couple of lures were stuck by stone and branch. However, pick the bigger set if the budget is allowed. It has more variety and better options.

My fiance loves to fish and I wanted to get her something useful but tbh I don't know that much about different lures. She liked all of these and said they were all useful for our freshwater fishing (we live in Maine).

This is a great little lure tackle kit for beginners. It has most of what you need. No bobbers or weights. Hooks are medium to large. Lures are nice. Good quality.

This was and is an amazing value and great quality. Some of the lures in this kit at the local stores are the same price as the whole kit. So I very much feel like we get an amazing deal here.
