Needs coding but works great
Works just like the OEM module for me (2011 BMW 135i). The supplied housing is specific to a 3 series but I just put the new board in the original BMW housing and it was fine. I did need to program it with my KDCAN cable and laptop but after programming it works normally and throws no codes. Great value.

worked on my 2008 bmw 335xi
oem one was gold wiring . this one is silver. guess thats why the oem is $300 bucks. went in easy. Just remove the tire and pull out the front well cover. you don't have to remove the bumper or even the light. its right there under the light. you do need a set of six point t heads for the three screws. Its been working for two nights now. hope it last a few years.

Light moves the wrong direction!
Does not work correctly. The board itself has no conformal (waterproof) coating which is a big red flag. When installed, the headlight turns the opposite direction. Right is left, and left is right. Board was swapped between with the OEM board in the other headlight, and the defect follows the board. This is yet another low-quality garbage knock off.

Plug & Play replacment on a 2010 335d e90 LCI
Footwell module was throwing codes 9CC0 and 9CBF for Communication with Step Motor Controller on Left/Right Disrupted. Disassembly of bumper and headlight assemblies revealed green crusties (see image). Cleaned up all connectors with some DeoxIT and applied corrosion inhibitor; restored operation to Right adaptive headlamp but the original control module on the Left (image above) was just covered in green crust. The FRM provides live data PIDs for voltage from the control modules, easy way to test if it's the module or something else. Left module did not return voltage when accessing those PIDs. Replaced it with this part and adaptive headlights function, 9CBF code cleared without issues, and no Coding required for me. Live data PIDs returned correct voltages as well. Hope someone finds this information useful.

Works, no issues
This is the second unit ive purchased from this seller, both worked no issues. I did have to code them into the car to make the headlight turn the correct direction, was done using my bidirectional scanner with no issue each time.

Plug and play!
Bought this for a customer’s car at work to give it a try when the dealer wanted something over $400 for this module at Nissan. It has worked very well for over 2 years, and saved them and me a lot of money. Customer was very satisfied!
