Great toy there is a remedy for the remote unpairing
My son loves it!! I saw the reviews about the remote impairing, all you have to do for is long press the power button on the remote to turn it off then turn it back on facing the sensor on the dinosaur and it will pair again. Other than that it works great and he plays with it all day.

Enjoyed
We were pleased it came in record time so we could give it to our 9 year old grandson for Christmas. He absolutely loved it. It did all the robotic things he hoped for and played with it all afternoon. Now the big question will be how long it lasts. Don't know yet. Ask me again in a few months.

STOP WORKING at 6 months
This product was hardly used by my 5 year old. He kept it by his bed on a table next to him. He said it protected him while he slept. The remote just stop connecting to the dino. I tried changing out the batteries but no luck. My son is very disappointed now! Save your money. This thing is garbage and won't last long. I'm going to contact shaper image and see if there is a warranty for this, if not I hoping my credit card will handle it. I will update my review Edit: change to 5 starts for customer warranty service. My son is going to give this Dino a 2nd chance. Hopefully we just got a bad one and this one will last longer. Thanks to the seller for honoring the warranty claim.

Its ok
Pretty cool robot dino with remote. Its fun to play with, but so far we are still unable to 'train' him as describe. Not sure if we are getting a defective item. And it is probably for much older kids(6 or 7 and up?). My 5 year old get bored playing with it after few min.

Needs batteries
It's Xmas eve. We tested Dino robot and everything seems ok. Charging it for the am when my son finds that Santa brought it to him. Fingers crossed it continues to work. I'll keep y'all posted.

I ordered TWO and TRIED TO RETURN ONE that won't charged. It does NOT work on berber carpet!
I was going to leave a fairly favorable review bc my 4 yo grandson "likes" his dinosaur. However, the second one I ordered (good thing I ordered two) won't hold a charge. I initiated the return process and sent the dino. We live in HI so things take a bit longer to get to the mainland. Anyway, somehow the return label was ripped off and I just got the dino back from our mail processor. I go in to reprint the label and guess what...IT IS NOT AVAILABLE even though I have until Feb 21st to get it back to them! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! HORRIBLE!! Now, about the dino we kept. We only kept it bc our grandson is 4 and has no idea that it really doesn't perform as it should! DO NOT BUY THIS THING IF YOU HAVE CARPET!! IT WILL NOT WORK! We have berber carpet and it WILL NOT run on it! Also, it does NOT transition well from hardwood, ceramic of vinyl onto carpet or throw rugs! The batteries in the remote are NOT rechargeable and it sucks those suckers dry PDQ!! IMHO.... DO NOT BUY THIS CRAPPY THING!!

Just ok
The price was a goo target point; however we thought the operation and features would be better. We purchased a dragon of the same type before years ago for our oldest and loved it. The dinosaur has the same features but the operation is lacking.
