I wear a size 7 in shoes. This bag I presumed to be a large bag. I WAS MISTAKEN. Do not be misled by the picture. I will give an update on the functionality of the product to see if it performs as intended. As for now, the price is OVERPRICE. This product may allow for 20 changes in your in-tank filters.

Easy to use. You can use it in almost any type of filter. You can make it thicker than the cartridges that just slip in.

I love that Amazon inquired as to whether this is "easy to clean." You don't clean this stuff. When you're changing out the aquarium filter media, you toss it. Easy to use, and reasonably priced.

I stuff it into the back of my biofilter, it removes all the tiny particles that cloud the water. Crystal clear water in no time. Plus, it has the added benefit of adding an extra growth medium for beneficial bacteria. I've got it in 4 chambers and only change one chamber each week as not to disturb the beneficial bacteria too much. Works like a charm.

A little bit pricey for the amount you get but I was lazy that week and didn't want to go out. Came in quickly. Cleared up 2 of my tanks overnight. A very good product if used correctly. If you tank does not clear up when using this product, don't blame the product, something else is going on in your tank.

It's filter fiber. Not much else to say. They are all about the same.

I love using this filter fiber instead of filter cartridges. People new to the hobby: buy these packages instead!! Filter cartridges aren’t the best to use because you have to throw the whole cartridge away once the activated carbon isn’t working anymore. Just rip off a few chunks of this and buy those small carbon bags if you need them, because they aren’t really a necessity! That way you can swap out filter fiber as it gets dirty, without taking all of it out and throwing it away. Beneficial bacteria live in the filter, and so you don’t want to ever take out all the media at once!!

If your filter is leaving your aquarium cloudy or green. This simple extra layer of cotton will clear it up. Must change every other day for about 5-7 days.
