No, there are no rings to pull off. Quick connect means that you simply push the tubing into the hole until fully seated/inserted. When you wish to remove the tubing you push and hold the ring down as you slide out the tubing.

Q: On the housing needed for the RO membrane, there are 3 ports – how do I identify which is inlet, outlet and drain?

The inlet is at the top of the housing and on the bottom of the housing the left hand side is the concentrate that goes back into the top of the next membrane. The outlet on the right is the drain.
