Delicious, what would you expect?
These things are delicious, and rather pricey, but you already knew that, because it's maple syrup; how else would it be? They're maybe a little too sweet, but again, that comes with the territory. Maple syrup; drink it by itself, it's too sweet. We know this.I doubt if I'll reorder them any time soon, but I have a friend who's allergic to chocolate, so if I ever want to give her some candy, and Shenandoah Apple Candy is unavailable, this would be perfect. If you want something a little different, maybe for a gift, and don't mind the price, you can hardly go wrong. The package of 16 smallish candies will evaporate in about 16 minutes.
