Hotel Chocolat The Tipsy Truffles H-Box

These chocolates were a gift, in the absence of bricks and mortar Hotel Chocolat during lockdown I decided to buy them from Amazon.A small word of warning, they arrived in a Russian doll format, the retail pack, which was inside a Hotel Chocolat cardboard box, which was inside an Amazon box. When they arrived I removed the amazon box and then wrapped them and given its a warm May we are having I put them in hiding in the kitchen where it's much cooler. Alas upon opening they had melted somewhat as per the pictures, I imagine this happened in transit in a van, it might not have, either way its my fault for picking chocolates up online and hoping they would be fine or storing them where they caught some sun 🙄.Regardless, it's the thought that counts, and the taste, and the fact they are Hotel Chocolat. They were still well recieved and we had a laugh about it!Hotel Chocolat chocolates really are a class above, the detail, layers of flavour and texture, taste separation and combinations are melt in the mouth, or box, amazing spreading love across the face with every small parcel of cocoa goodness.The Raspberry Pannacotta in the picture, the one bitten in half not the melted pink one leaking all over the rest of the box, is a wonder, as are the other two or three I managed to aquire.The only issue is really that in such a pack size you only get one of each, the best ones, if your generous, you have to share.Amazing taste profiles, top notch presentation, just very very consistently brilliant chocolate. Buy them as a gift, for someone else, for you, for fun.Don't let the small matter of a little melting upset your day, worse things happen at sea especially in such times as these.Highly recommended.Five Stars.

These 'Exuberantly Fruity' Chocolates are, without a doubt, the 'New Love' in my life!I don't recall ever trying Hotel Chocolat chocolates before but thought I'd treat myself and I'm not disappointed. These are delicious and whilst they may not be worth every penny, they certainly come very close and I'll be buying more.A nice gift for an extremely valued friend or better still, as a personal treat :)

Bought this collection as less chocolates, and due to becoming addicted to them, which is beginning to show on the waist. I have been buying the Tipsy Sleekster, which I prefer as more in them, and more flavours, but these fulfil the desire with less damage. You cannot just eat one. I defy anyone to just eat one and then put the box away.UPDATEThe chocolates are just as nice, but like everything else, the price has gone up on Zon but that is to be expected as H C's website shows everything increased. Still a treat though. However I wanted to complain about DPD who delivered these to a neighbour across and further down the road saying that he had tried my door. DPD had NOT. There was a specific signed note on my front door saying door not in use and to deliver to the BACK door. Meanwhile another delivery of HC chocs made by Amazon courier was fine, followed the note on the door. Having taken delivery of these I then wondered where were the DPD ones. Came to Zon website and found I could not either complain or ask where is my stuff. Fortunately, the person whom took this item in brought it across just as I was getting cross. It is so annoying when couriers lie and leave stuff elsewhere, in my case I am currently housebound due to a wound. Had not this person brought them across I would have been minus my treat. Happy Bunny with the chocs but not with DPD.

We have consumed some of the chocolates and they were delicious. Unfortunately they had been seriously melted in transit. I bought a second large box as a gift. I just hope that they are okay. Something needs to be done to keep items chilled during transit.

Hotel Chocolat H Boxes are great value for really good quality chocolates. They make a lovely gift for someone special or a treat for yourself. I love Hotel Chocolat chocolates especially their Patisserie collection. I highly recommend this. By buying through amazon you can get free postage if you spend £20 or more. Whereas at Hotel Chocolat you have to pay postage or collect free of charge from your local shop.

I personally have never had these chocolates but the item was bought for a gift and the recipient loved them. As for the packaging, that was excellant. I was worried that due to the fragility of the product they would get damaged but that was absolutly not the case. The three items I purchased were packaged extremly well amd in excellant condition when I opened them. There was extra internal packing which I assume was for extra care of the product. Im very pleased with the speed of delivery and would buy from this company again in the future again with confidence. Thank you

I've bought hotel chcolat products for many years and have never been disappointed.They used to have bits of real fruit in their exuberantly fruity selection, but removed it, which was a big mistake.I still like the others and these are practically the only chocolates I buy now.They are expensive so I can't afford them regularly but I'd rather not have chocolate at all if I can't have these.I tend to have a couple at a time so that they last longer.Excellent quality.
