DeltaFaucet RP32529 Aerator for 2.2 GPM, Chrome

I used this to replace my original Delta aerator in a kitchen faucet. The flow of water was much smoother with this product and the design as a notch on the outside for ease of gripping with/without a tool.

Easy and reliable transaction

Picked up an aerator from a local hardware store. Paid more for it than this one, and it was problematic from the start. I had to use a bunch of teflon tape to make it not leak, and at 1.5 gpm it was a pathetic dribble. So I bought this one. It fits perfectly. No teflon tape needed, and the stream is again proper at 2.2 gpm. Very pleased. Plus, it has the flat notches on it so you can use a box wrench and not gouge the finish with a pair of channel locks.

I had the parts list from the original manufacturer and headed the local hardware store. They did not have the exact match from the manufacturer and indicated that I purchase a replacement part. The part fit put the flow characteristics were different and I was not pleased with the operation. I ordered the part above and it worked correctly.

Increased the water flow at our bathroom sink. Got the hot water up much quicker.

I'm kind of laughing about posting this review. Why? Hopefully the condo manager I'm renting from doesn't see it! I moved into a condo a few months ago. Really nice bathrooms in it. Turned the sink on to shave and thought, "that's cute" water is included in the rent so it's obvious the management decided to put these sprayer aerators on the sinks to limit water usage. Yeah, that's not going to work. I went to the local brick and mortar depot store and bought an aerator that said it increases pressure. I put it on and while it did rid me of the cute spray of water I was getting, it was still terribly weak. I've worked in construction and engineering/planning construction for over a decade and knew there were better aerators out there. Finally, found a guy at the other brick and mortar store who told me they were limited on aerators. I see Amazon isn't! This is a great aerator. My main need for the pressure is to shave my head. My hair is thick, it clogs my razor up and a good pressure sink with hot water clears it right out. Very easy install also.

Extremely easy to install, good quality, fits as expected and price better than my local hardware store.
