This is a great game. Lots of fun to be had. If you like hunting, you will like this game. It is best with the Move controllers and a gun. YOu then get the real feel of aiming your gun at the animal and pulling the trigger. I warn that it can be somewhat intense and perhaps not the best for young eyes to see, but a very fun and exciting game none the less and something fun to play for the big boys. In fact myself and some of my friend smake it a regular thing.

If you hunt, know anything about hunting, or have a slight amount of respect for hunting and hunters - THIS IS *NOT* the game for you!Dangerous Hunts games have long been arcadish examples of run around and kill everything you see - that's long been the series MO. The problem with this one is you are being badgered in story mode by a walking, talking, cliche in the shape of a man who is over-the-top conservative in his manly hunter do-and-do-nots, and yet encourages you to walk through the forest blasting anything that moves, at every chance he's slamming you with insults and verbal garbage.This is a game where hundreds of wolves attack all at once because... because. Fortunately, you'll find dozens pizza boxes with white cross on them to instantly rejuvenate your bloodied body whenever anything of challenge comes along. Every now and again, however, the game goes quiet and lets you quietly stalk an elk. You line up your shot and - WHATS THAT? A flock of crows! You pull out your shotgun and blast them out of the sky! 40 exp! Back to the rifle and you line the shot up gain...This game is a joke. It's really, seriously, resolutely - bad.Cabella's may sell a lot of hunting gear as a company, but I've come to strongly suspect they don't actually know a damn thing about hunting.

GOOD GAME FUN TO PLAY

I bought this game hoping to experience a hunting simulation (hunting tools, maps, binoculars, following animal trails, etc) but unfortunately It is just an arcade point-and-shoot game.The Game has only two modes (Free mode called 'Galleries' and Story mode) and lacks of any kind personalization (there's no variety of guns or gadgets) and in some cases you cannot change your weapon.It's so boring that I have played just one time and I have tried play in other two or three times but finally I don't spent more that 2 minutes on it.If you are looking for a simple arcade game then go for it. But don't expect more that the thrill of point-and-shoot at fleeing or raging animals in front of you.

I don't think an in-depth review is necessary as the game itself is not very in-depth. This is basically a run and gun game where blasting animals is nearly nonstop and gratuitous. They have thrown in quite a bit of items to find and "collect" which I figure is there to slow the pace down a bit. There's also a couple of boss fights which is always a plus in my books.Then there are the shooting galeries which are actually really well done. I felt kind of out of place using the controller so I was glad to get my hands on a cheap Move controller and hope this makes a difference in my scores.A warning though. When I fired up this game, I could NOT get the game to recognize any button inputs. Right from 'Press Start' the game wouldn't react to my controller. My first reaction was that the game was a Move game only which is NOT the case. What it turned out to be was that I was using the original Sixaxis controller (without rumble) that had come with my 40gb PS3 back in the day. As soon as I switched to my newer controller (with rumble) everything worked fine. So I put this on my review in case anyone else has this problem or only has one of those original controllers as playing this game could potentially mean buying a second controller.

waste of money beat it in 1 hour stupid story roll, not worth 10 bucks . and its basically a waste of space on my ps3's data

I bought this for my daughter, and she just loves it. She is a girly-girl, but has always liked hunting games. Her grandma won skeet shooting competitions, so she must get this from her. Not just a guy game.

An absolute hit with my grandson. He loves it and loves for his uncle who is a sportsman to come over and play with him.
