Works very well for what i needed-excellent safe we use for our valuables. We like the space this provides inside, and the purpose for why we have a safe in our home. We had no trouble with it opening,we had no trouble with the keypad,and the keys works as well. For the price the safe is more than satisfactory.

I like the weight, the finish, the durability of the safe. I like how simple yet secure it appears to be. Although I believe I will need a bigger one to store accessories as well.I disliked a frustrating detail that was left out of the instructions booklet... When setting the password, it only says how to reset it once a password already exists. It does not mention what the default password is out of the box.It would have been nice to have a phone number to call on the spot as well. Instead I had to message the vendor through Amazon and send a separate email to all I found online...All before I figured out the default on my own and was them able to set my own desired password.This safe will be used to store a firearm.

The quality is what one would expect at this price point. The instructions were obviously written by someone for whom English is not their native language. The instructions for setting up the four digit code, which they referred to as a password, were very confusing. They tell you to enter the original password, then change the password. Nowhere do they say what the original password is. I discovered it by reading reviews online. It is 1234. They also say it requires four AA batteries, but give no further information. The battery compartment is inside on the top. I have big hands and found it difficult to open the compartment, install the batteries, and then replace the cover. That is the worst design feature, in my opinion. I wished the safe were about one more inch higher and not reappraisal in shape.

Just arrived today. Nothing in the instructions on battery housing location and nothing on factory pass code. Those were all no problem just more of an inconvenience. The reason I am sending it back is due to the key entry did not open every time, really had to play around with it to get it open. This just did not give me any faith in easy emergency quick access or reliable access. Went with a different product.

Bought this 2 days ago from Amazon, arrived in fine condition, little else about this safe is good. The listed dimensions should have let me store my Ruger GP100 5.5 inch barrel length with length of just under 11 inches should have fit, it does not. The instructions do not mention the battery compartment, nor that it even needs batteries. Setting the combination is problematical, but can be made to work if you memorize the instructions and have quick finger. You must activate the combination change mode then very fast, enter the default combo, followed by your new combo 3 times in rapid succession, I could not do it, my son had to do it for me. The fingerprint reader was easier, though it needed 3 finger presses to confirm the fingerprint was accepted. The opening method, key, code, or finger print worked fine, though why you would need rapid access to this safe is beyond my understanding, as with a pistol the size of a Sig 226 you can barely get your hand in the opening to grasp the pistol butt, let alone extract it with any kind of speed. This safe might be good to store documents in, but in no way should be considered of any use for quick weapon retrieval in an emergency. I would not recommend this safe to anyone, though you could throw it at an intruder if it is not fastened down. ZERO STARS, though I believe I will be force to give it 1 star to post the review.

Would not recommend. Poor instruction manual, very difficult to insert batteries, does not include the preset combination(1,2,3,4) needed to set new combination. Then, it stopped opening with any combination! I have to use key.

I love this YUEMA Pistol Safe. Its just what I needed. Its the perfect size for my 357 with a 4" barrel. It also would fit my snub nose pistol or a wide variety of medium sized handguns perfectly as well. Its extremely easy to use and protects and safely stores my pistol out of the way from my 5 year old child's curious eyes. The 4 digit digital combination is easy to enter with its well identified raised padded buttons. Makes entering it in the dark a breeze. It also has an interior light that comes on for a short period when the door is opened. The construction is great and plenty strong enough for what I need. A burglar might be able to get into it given the right tools, but if its secured to the floor or wall, they might move on to easier things if they are short on time. All in all, its a great product and one I'm glad I got.
