Crown 335 Combination Shave Hook, 9-Inch

It was quite a search Amazon to find a tool that matches the antique we are using to remove paint from the house. Luckily I found this after scrolling through a few pages and adjusting my search terms.With 3 people trying to strip all the paint off a house at once, having only 1 trim tool was slowing the process. The other problem is that a lot of the more modern trim scrapers do not seem to have the right curves.This showed up and seems to be even nicer than the antique we already had. After a summer of scraping paint in front of a heat gun, the scraper is none the worse for wear.

We have been stripping woodwork (curved moldings) and this is perfect. We have several of them.

It arrived in a blunt condition and had to be sharpened before using. The head loosened after a little bit but it worked fine. A hard to fine tool so well worth the price.

It seems to work ok but it rusted pretty quick despite keeping it in a low humidity box with oil on it. It is also awkward in shape and size and won't fit into smallish spaces. Seems to work otherwise.
