I could not be happier with this customized ornament! The artwork and lettering are beautiful, crisp, and easy to read even from across the room. Up close, the details are amazing. Pictures do not do it justice. The bark and tree branches are carved quite deeply into the surface, which creates interesting texture and depth. The wood has a natural polished sheen, and subtle wood grain. The darker wood is where it was carved out. The edge has been decoratively burned, and the back is plain.The red satin ribbon adds a pop of color and is the perfect length- big enough to easily fit over the branch but not so long that it hangs awkwardly.Likewise, the size and light weight of the ornament are perfect on a tree- it's so lightweight it doesn't pull down the branches at all, and it blends in perfectly with the scale of average sized ornaments on a tree.Because it isn't specifically "Christmas themed," I think this ornament could be displayed year round. It would be cute with a grouping of wedding or engagement photos, for example. Following the advice given by the seller in the customer question sections, I contacted the seller (Stocking Factory) and requested additional wording on the ornament, in order to personalize it for our anniversary. (We had a December wedding, so my husband and I get a special ornament for our anniversary gift each year. :) ) Stocking Factory's response was fast and courteous, and it did not take any extra time to add the extra lettering.I would definitely recommend this darling, whimsical ornament and intend to buy from Sticking Factory again in the future!

Wow! I can't say enough good things about this ornament. I bought it for my husband and myself for our first Christmas since getting married.The ornament came out looking exactly like the picture and description and even had a delightful smell of recently burned wood. The writing is clear, and personalized correctly to the year and last name that I instructed. One thing that I did not realize before I ordered it is the detail on the trunk of the tree. As you can see from the picture, it is a nice touch. The ornament comes with a red ribbon to hang on the tree.In addition to being pleased with the ornament, I was surprised by how fast it arrived. The website said it would take about 7 business days to get to my house, but it was less than that (probably about 4 days), even with Thanksgiving during that time period. The ornament was wrapped in a cute fabric gift bag, which was inside a small but sturdy box.I would definitely recommend this ornament for new couples. I also think it would be a very cute gift to give to your new son or daughter in law!

**Edit**I was so excited to find this. Me and my husband started a Christmas Tradition last year. (our first Christmas together) Every year when we set the tree up, we will exchange ornaments we have bought each other and put them on the tree. Last year we bought ornaments but I wanted to get one that said our first Christmas together. I searched every store and never could find one. I never even thought to search on amazon.. Until this year. I started searching on Amazon but was thought I would never find anything custom and with it being 2014 I thought there is no way now I am going to find something.... I am happy to say I wrong!I found this and I immediately ordered it so we would have it for when we put up the tree this year. I was thrilled to have found something. When it arrived however, the bottom of tree was broken and chipped. Which I assume happened during shipping. I was able to superglue it back together, but it doesn't look the best. The wood is pretty thin and it doesn't seem like it would take much to break. I wish that it was a bit thicker and was made of better wood. The ribbon up top to hang it on does look cheap as well and isn't very big/thick ribbon. It would look a lot nicer if it was a better quality string or nice rope with a tassel.However, the size is great for hanging on the tree and the lettering looks wonderful! I love the font and the look of it the ornament. It did come in a nice little bag which was a nice touch. I am glad to have it but I do wish it was a bit better quality for the price paid.

We ordered this for our friends who just got married in December. The quality is amazing & makes a wonderful statement.This was the perfect gift to mark their first Christmas together as husband & wife and they loved it too.I know some of the reviews complained about it being thin or cheap looking but it is solid wood - light bark like material but it's the real deal.I urge you to keep this in mind - you are ordering an ornament so you don't want a heavy weight trinket weighting down the branches of a tree.This would also be great to hang in your car because it's light enough and just the right size.I definitely will order again if the opportunity arises.Great quality,presentation in the pretty draw string gift bag & fast service - can't beat that!

I like that this ornament is personalized for my son and daughter-in-law for their first Christmas as a married couple. It's lightweight and will not make the branches droop. The Engraving is precise! Once I paid for the engraving and shipping and handling it was a bit on the expensive side for as little an ornament as this is, which is why I gave it only four stars. Still worth the price to be able to give this as a "special gift." for my son and daughter-in-law. Merry Christmas to all 2018 🎄

I bought this for my minimalist no-frills daughter who got married a week before Christmas, and she loved it. The ornament is so cute, and the craftsmanship is perfect. It was sent with a nice little gift pouch and arrived pretty quickly after I ordered it. Would definitely recommend this seller!

The only thing I did not like was the fact that the letters were a little crunched up together. For instance, the letter u and the letter n come together in a way that they are a little hard to make out. Was going to call about it but decided not to. I think maybe a different, more legible font would help. Will definitely order from you again. Thank you
