Golden Technologies - Buzzaround EX - Travel Scooter - 4-Wheel - Red

I can’t say enough good things about this scooter. It’s absolutely fantastic.

This scooter is a good investment. It is well designed and is exactly what I needed and at a price that I could live with. However, I feel that it was under designed in that the wheels are not worthy of the scooter. They are too small in diameter and too narrow. There is no option for a better tire. One other thing is that the company didnt do any type of follow up after the sale. Nothing was mentioned about the fact that the computer control can be reprogramed to more satisfy the customers desires within a parameter of safety. I cannot find out where this function can be performed nor can I find out if that reprograming process is included in the price of the scooter which in my opinion should be offered for free. I havent had anything bad happen yet nor do I expect to. These complaints forced me to offer a 4 star rating.

I think the manual could be a little better. This mobility scooter is allowing me to do things I haven’t been able to do for awhile.

I have now had this scooter for five years and love it even more now. I was not sure what I expected from the batteries but they still hold a charge for as long as they did when the scooter was new.I had been putting off getting a mobility scooter because I was not ready to accept that I needed one. That wasted SO much time that I could have been out there doing things instead of limiting my horizons.When going to the summer markets, grocery stores, or to Costco, I attach a collapsible wagon to the rear scooter hitch. I purchased this 12" short dog leash (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CZBPMD1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 ). I wrap under the wagon handle (the handles are generally made of plastic) and then snap it to the nut on the scooter receiver. I have added a photo with my first wagon. I did not care for that one and replaced it with one that I could keep the handle short to give a sharper turning radius.For smaller shopping trips, I have used this. It excelled over all three surfaces. What surprised me is that it works in mild snow (1.5"). Every so often you might feel a wheel made a tiny slip but that is it.I live a mile from a grocery store and when it is nice, I use this to go to it, shop, and come home again. The batteries do not even register a drain in charge.One of the reasons that I purchased this scooter was the fact that it breaks down. I did that a lot when I first purchased that but on some days that was not the easiest thing for me to do. I purchased the hitch rack with ramp. The scooter goes right up it. Makes is a lot easier for me when my pain levels are high. This is the rack that I have. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A NEW SCOOTER UNDER $ 2000 AND I FOUND THE BUZZ AROUND EX IT LOOKED GREAT IN SHOWROOM AND I DROVE IT AROUND OUTSIDE IT HANDLES GREAT I DO A LOT OF RV TRAILER CAMPING AND THIS LITTLE GUY BREAKS DOWN WELL ENOUGH TO PUT IN TRUNK OF A CAR AND YET WHEN PUT TOGETHER IT HOLDS MY 225 POUND 6 FOOT BODY AND GETS ME AROUND IN COMFORT WITH THE FRONT AND REAR SPRING SHOCK ABSORBERS IT'S REALLY THE BEST I COULD EVER WANT AND IN A LOWER END PRICE RANGE IT OUT PERFORMS ANYTHING THAT I HAVE TRIDENT AND I HAVE HAD THREE SCOOTERS BEFORE THIS AND THEY COST MORE AND DID NOT PERFORM AS WELL OR AS COMFORTABLE AS THIS LITTLE BEAUTY DOSE I GIVE IT FIVE STARS AND THEN some JOB WELL DONE -GOLDEN BUZZ EX. If you own or do buy one of these scooters the main harness on the tiller is held in by a wire tie where the tiller rotates. Do yourself a favor and cut off that wire tie ,because over time It will eat into the main harness and break wires inside. A new main harness will have to be installed .

I cannot say enough good things about the service provided by Bargain Blast. They were extremely helpful, thoughtful, and understanding in helping us. My husband had lost/misplaced the keys so was very unhappy that he was unable to use the scooter. After just one brief phone call the problem was resolved! Keys arrived in a few days much to everyone's delight. I cannot sing their praises enough! Great customer relations!

Ordered this to use getting around campus where I teach. Absolutely amazing!!!! Needed because of hip bursitis and sciatica...now I can get to all the places I need to and in style!!!!
