Maxed out, works great from Home Assistant with AI.
Used to upgrade Home Assistant Yellow. Got the 16GB of Ram, 64 storage. Put the home assistant drive on an NVME drive. I run local AI on it and queries are much faster vs the original chip. I skipped the wifi chip. You will need to cool both the CM5 and the hard drive with passive heat coolers in the Home Assistant Yellow. I can strongly recommend this for a small home assistant system that runs a basic AI speaker group and runs some control stuff and a few dashboards.
