Le Chameau Footwear Women's Vierzon LD Rain Boot

I bought the black pair in my normal women's size 7.5 (euro 39), and in an 8 just in case. (Yes, you will get a low pair of black boots if you select black, you won't get the taller blue pair).I didn't even bother trying on the 8 because the 7.5 is borderline too big for me. If I wear really thick socks with them it'll be fine, but if I wear them on a rainy summer day I may not necessarily want thick socks on. Also the rubber seems a little more thin than it should be. The size 7.5 came slightly dirty and in an unmarked box, but the 8 is clean and in original box so not sure what that's all about. I'm slightly worried that the rubber would rip easily.I got them for a good price so I might keep them because they still are cute after all. They're posh looking, I was drawn to these after I learned that Kate Middleton wears them. If the price of them were any higher it would be a rip off.

I love these, they are black and hit just under halfway between my ankle and knee. I have tall hunters as well but they are hard to get on and frankly I'm never in puddles deep enough to need tall hunters for. These are stylish and less clunky and I'm hopeful they will hold up longer than my hunters (which the inner sole started rolling up after a few wears and now give me blisters). I'm hoping this brand catches on in the U.S., I'd love to be able to see more styles in person and try them on.

I LOVE these boots. They are comfortable, colorful, and have a great tread. I followed the suggestion of another buyer and purchased sheep's skin insoles--now they are all weather boots. I have received many compliments on these boots and cannot be happier that I purchased them.

These shoes were really odd. Duchess Kate Middleton wears Le Chameau so I expected aomething really nice quality and sturdy. These felt like thin and flumsy rubber SOCKS! Once your foot is in, the shoe literally collapses on itself. Plus one shoe was larger than the other. Weird. Wonder if these are a cheap knockoff of the real thing.

Perhaps as a tall boot the weight between the upper and sole is more proportional, but as a short boot this is not the case. The sole of the boot is nice and flat and feels well structured, but the upper is thin and walking makes the bottom pull. The material is very stretchy, so walking long distances could be comfortable, but just lifting your toes up in the boots reveals the insubstantial nature of the material. Too bad because I really wanted to like this brand. Color was fun, exterior did have an ever so slight tacky feel. Back to Bogs!

They are great, it is a great brand, it is my fault if they are a little too big, got mixed up with the size and too lazy to send them, so I am just adding a pair of socks. The British Royals wear Le Chameau!

Did NOT get the tall blue version; got the short black one. They will fit the bill so I kept them, but don’t order and expect to get what is pictured.

Am extremely pleased with this boot. My nephew and I wore them tidepooling on the Olympic Peninsula last week and he really liked them too. I bought these because my sister was praising the tall Le Chameau boots; she bought two styles (one with a warm lining, one unlined) and loves both. I was concerned that the tall boots would be tight in my calf area. She loves these short boots too, and now plans to order a pair of these to add to her collection. Also I think this color -- "peacock blue" -- is terrific.
