AKIELO RFID Blocking Card Holder and Gift Box – Compact and Slim Wallet – Minimalist Card Wallet (Charlie Collection)

Been actively using this wallet for a month now.- 6 cards in main pocket (1 embossed, 5 flat)- 1 card in horizontal-opening side pocket- nothing in vertical-opening side pocketI found the vertical side pocket is too tight to easily put in a card, and even harder to take one out. The wide opening side pocket is where I put my most used card (oyster) as it's easy to remove with just one hand propping the wallet against my body.The main pocket fits the bulk of my cards really nicely, however if I squeeze the sides of the wallet when it's upside down, all the cards immediately fall out. This had made me exceptionally paranoid when putting my wallet into my pocket (to make sure it's the right way up) and when taking my wallet out of my pocket (to check that my cards haven't fallen out all over the bus stop..).I do love the texture of the material, and the flap to remove cards from the main pocket is a nice touch. However the unease I feel on a daily basis prevents me from giving a good rating.

Really pleased with how astonishing this product look/feels. I am a first time buyer and loved the package and how fast it arrived. I have put 7 cards but it can handle more and its really small holds no space in your pocket. Thank you.

It makes a change for my wallet to be disappearing, rather than the money inside, but I think wallets will slowly disappear for real over the next few years as we start to use electronic wallets and credit cards for everything. But until then, this is a great little wallet which stores my cards and cash in the smallest thing possible. I was looking at the tiny wallets advertised by Bellroy for a while and balking at their prices, but really liked the idea of a super-slim wallet which would take up hardly any space in my pocket. This does the trick at about half the price, and is great quality. It's nicely put together, feels sturdy and seems like it won't fall apart in a few months (time will tell, of course).

Yes, this is a well-made wallet (or so it seem at the time of writing). I have four bank/credit cards along with my driving licence. The four cards are stored in the main part of the wallet and the drawstring device works well. however, it would be helpful if when the cards came out they were fanned/stacked so you could more easily see each card. The come out as one block so you have to place them in the wallet in the order of one you use the most being the last one you place in so it the top card and so on. I have placed my driving licence in one of the outside pockets for ease of access. The pocket that you can use for notes isn't very big so if you use cash I don't think this is the one for you. All in all, does what it says, but could be better for the price. I'm hoping that because of the cost it will last. But as with everything, only time will tell. Will update if it falls apart.

Just arrived, one day after order. Lovely wallet. I hope that it protects against contactless theft as that was the reason it was purchased. So cannot comment on that element :) (?) Arrived in lovely box making a great impression but have to say spend less on the box and velvety drawstring bag as surely it will be better for the environment - unless the kids can use it for something its going in the bin. :)

I love it. I hate bulky wallets - they ruin the line of any outfit. Have tried a couple of slim wallets - this is by far the slimmest and the easiest for both card & cash access. The leather is lovely - the feel and smell of it and the craftsmanship is excellent. Oh, and the little bag it came in (inside the neat presentation box) has a second life and is being used by my girlfriend as a change pouch.

The AKIELO Charlie is my ideal wallet. Compared to the huge, bulky bifolds that I used to carry with me which were very uncomfortable in my front pocket, the Charlie is incredibly slim. I carry 11 cards around with me in it (1 embossed, 10 flat), with 4 in the central pop-up section, 3 in the front portrait slot and 4 in the back pouch. The design is clean and modern, and the coated leather material is very hard-wearing and durable, and has darkened and become smoother over time. The RFID protection offers me peace of mind, too.I’ve been carrying the Charlie around with me daily for a good few months now and it has held up perfectly. The slots have stretched to accommodate my desired number of cards, yet it is still so slim that it is not noticeable when in my front pocket. The pull tab mechanism is very reliable - much more so than the spring-loaded alternatives I have used in the past, which I find eventually break. Finally, the customer care from AKIELO is some of the best I have ever experienced, which gives me ever more confidence in their brand.If you’re looking for a minimalist leather wallet, I recommend this wholeheartedly!

Does what it says on the Tin! Good quality first impressions, excellent delivery, 4 days earlier than scheduled.. only had the wallet a few days but all seems great so far. Fits all the credit and store points cards although as I’m retired I only carry a couple of each.The overall impression is of quality and is arrives nicely packaged. All in all no complaints. Will update in a few weeks as I see how it wears and uses.
