This is a great security system. My son got his bike stolen in our front yard and there has been a bunch of stealing going on in town so we wanted something that we could set up and watch from a mobile app. This set up delivers in spades.Easy to set up. It was a breeze to set up and it came with all the wired needed to do so. The cameras were easy to hang and were adjustable so they can fit just about any location. Each camera came with mounting screws also.The instructions to get it hooked up to our internet were easy and we did not struggle to do that. We are tech minded so that could be a reason for that.The quality on these is what really blew me away. I really expected plastic housing on the cameras given the price point but no they are metal and feel very nice.This kit comes with 4 cameras but is expandable to 8 if you wanted more. We will look into that in the future but for now the 4 is good.Keep in mind This does not come with a hard drive you need to install one of your choosing if you want to record the signal. We did not get this for that reason so we have not done that. We just mainly wanted the app viewing. It did come with instructions on how to install a hard drive.Over all I'm very happy with this set up.

Excellent home security system at a very affordable price. There had been several home break ins in my neighborhood, and I need to replace my Night Swan system that had died. I finally found this system and thought I would give it a try. I was impressed with the customer service of this Seller. My emails were answered promptly and all questions I had were very promptly answered. Package arrived 2 days later. System was very well packaged for shipment. The system comes in its own carrying package and then was placed in a padded Amazon box. It took me several hours to install my system, as I concealed the camera's in the tree's in my yard and then digging trenches to bury all the cables in thin PVC pipe. I then drilled a small hole in the bottom of the wall so I could run the cables behind the entertainment center so all the wires were hidden from view. After I plugged all the color coded cables in, I scanned the QVC code connected to the camera so that I can remotely connect to my camera's to view them in real time. The camera images are very clear and concise as you are viewing in HD. I love the smart motion feature which only starts recording when their is movement. I have caught the raccoon stealing the corn out of my squirrel feeders. The picture on the camera is so clear I can watch my humming birds and squirrels feed during the day. If you are looking for a high quality affordable home security system at a great price I highly recommend the Fredi system. Very well made, camera's are waterproof. I rated this purchase 5 Stars as customer service was great. Seller is polite and courteous, as very pleasant to deal with. Very fast shipping. Installation is easy. Would purchase from this Seller again. I'm very happy with my system. High quality product at an affordable price.

Well I received the item and let me tell you I was pretty excited about getting the system installed, I got all the cameras mounted and ran the wire from the camera to the dvr, and you want to try and have all the wired ran professional as you can be, upon completion of the installation I went to turn on the unit, the system is awesome you can watch all four cameras, or you can watch one at a time, but for reason my unit will only play three cameras, very frustrating, im hoping that something can be done over the Internet or phone, im gonna contact the dealer and see what's my options, but other than that I really loved the unit, perfect for your home and beginners.

Not sure if mine was defected but my experience does not match the reviews. 2/3 of my cameras looked great during the day but at night 1 was completely black. Eventually all of them were stuck in IR (black and white)I paid an extra 200 and swapped for a night owl using the larger hard drive which i bought for this unit which has been great so far.

App stopped working after less then 6 months. Any attempts to fix it gave no results. The recorder was replaced by the manufacturer as it developed a lot of noise. One of the cameras filled with water and died after about a year and half. Two years later the recorder died as well. Conclusion, if you want something that works, don't buy cheap stuff from China.

I have been very disappointed in this unit. Within the first 6 months of use, I had issues with two of the 6 cameras. The quality of video is good, but they are not rugged. The DVR unit is a software nightmare...getting it setup is messy and time consuming. If your a Android phone user, forget using the review function on the app to look at previous recordings. The live view works ok. Bottom line is that the DVR unit is flakey...it randomly reboots and I have had times where I can't go back and look at certain recordings. Avoid purchasing this.

Dear god, know what you're getting into. At this point I think I'm going open up the interface and use it as an ashtray because you essentially need a CTS certificate to be able to throw this online or run anything more complicated than a wired local system. Also... customer support?

Do not buy this product, customer service is absolutely absent, and unreliable in evey way. The DVR is very very difficult to use. The app to view on smart phone is very difficult to use/set up, amen again no help available. Go with a ZOSIView for residential use etc...good product for good $$.
