The best art umbrella out there
I bought this umbrella to go with a classic full Julian easel for field trips in the California Sierra this summer. I'm finding that it is very versatile and reasonable easy to transport. I even had an incident with an unusually gusty breeze that lifted my easel full of 20# of rocks and bent the umbrella. Guerrilla painter sent a free replacement (and recommended opening the umbrella vents with tiny dixie cups in the future)

Exellent
It is a really nice umbrella, easy to mount, it keeps enough sunlight out of the canvas and it extends to a reasonable length. Good product, I recommend it.

It is good if you sit to paint
The umbrella is very sturdy. It fits one of brush holes on palette. The only drawback is the extention is 36 inches short. There is no way I can stand to paint without feeling it is right on top of my hair. If you like to sit and paint, you will like it. There is plenty room between you and the umbrella. And it can easily be adjusted to any angles you want and blocks the sun very well. Light as a feather too. I guess I will get a longer tripod or bring my chair.

I never used this item as it came delivered totally broken.

Good but limited use
Excellent umbrella but extension is short and collapses only 1/3 of length. I still use it if not windy. Just needs a attention to be an excellent umbrella.

Clamp is Problematic
I agree with reviews that the clamp is not sturdy, made of plastic and does not open wide enough. The umbrella does not close completely unto itself, leaving a metal shaft always exposed. Umbrella does get blown in the wind which is partly due to the clamp. When open, and clamped to tripod because it won’t clamp to my pochade box, it is barely tall enough to stand under. Many design issues. It does block sun and rain and is lightweight. Before I go forward and replace with a golf umbrella I am looking for an alternative clamp for a round tripod leg. Any suggestions or solutions welcome. I expected better from this company.

Worth the money, it's a good product.
I love mine. Works great!

This is a small umbrella. It might not last long in a wind despite being tied down. The clamp is small and tight and might only easily fit Guerrilla kit. Will use it but not as versatile as I had hoped.

Fits onto my tripod and seems quite sturdy. The clamp could be a little wider but it fits into the middle section of the tripod.

Nice adaptable umbrella.

Way too small to shade everything, my palette, my painting and myself. The clamp doesn't hold, always twists to one side or the other. You need an absolutely windless situation, and quite frankly that is never the case when outdoor painting. Also the goose neck is too stiff.
