Smooth roller with good coverage.

This roller did okay with satin paint and not well at all with semi-gloss, which is what I bought it for. It left horrible streaks in the paint. So for eggshells and satins I think it would be a nice cheap.option.It does wash really well which is a great feature.

Works well for touchups, stencils, etc.Uniform application and durability. Worked better than the 16$ one I bought the first time.

I ordered two of these to use with a gallon of Herculiner for the ramp of my enclosed trailer. These rollers are identical to the ones that come with the Herculiner kit except they're twice as wide which is exactly what I wanted. They leave a great texture behind and I only did two coats to use up the entire gallon so I didn't have to bother with cleaning a roller. I just used one roller per coat. That's the easiest way to do it for me. The results are awesome!

IF YOU ARE PAINTING WITH UGL DRY-LOCK THIS IS THE ROLLER THAT YOU NEED! UGL IN THEIR INFINITE WISDOM DISCONTINUED THIS ALMOST IDENTICAL ROLLER. THIS ROLLER IS ESPECIALLY NECISSARY IF YOU ARE USING ANY SAND IN YOUR PAINT. IT BROADCASTS THE SAND PERFECTLY. I WOULD ALSO USE IT FOR PAINTING FLOORS WITH SAND ADDITIVE. THIS ROLLER WILL SAVE YOU TIME, COATS, IS MUCH EASIER TO CLEAN, REUSEABLE MULTIPLE USESES. YOU WILL LOVE THIS THING!

I had some patching done on my walls and so the patches were noticeably all smooth while the surrounding walls had the little "sand" like grit texture on them. I used this and yes, it does the job! You have to cake the paint on pretty heavy on this roller so be aware of it splattering a little: cover your floors with old sheets. It really gives the wall a small bumpy, sand-like texture that blends in perfectly to old walls with texture.
