CAT Men’s Threshold Waterproof Steel Toe Work Boot

Ordered these as I was quite tired of things in the shop landing on my feet. Was going to buy a pair from the Big Box store with the initial W, but all they carried were the wide versions, which after trying them on, was far too big. Decided to take a chance on these as they looked the right height for good support, and not too heavy. Was surprised when I received them actually how stout and heavy they are. They are very well constructed with good quality leather and other materials, and the toe box is not cramped at all, compared to other boots that I have worn over the years. The sole is quite thick and not flimsy at all. For as heavy as they feel in hand, once on, they are very comfortable. It may take a bit of time to get used to the weight, but then, I've been used to wearing only sneakers for the past I don't know how long. Fortunately (?) I have not tested the toe protection thus far, but given the rest of the boot, I have no doubt that my feet will be very well protected. These are stated to be waterproof as well, but have not tested that aspect to this point. However, from overall inspection, the materials used and the construction would lend itself to very well be waterproof. Time will tell on that facet. Give them a go....I don't think you will regret it in any way.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought these work shoes 5 years ago and I really can't complain, they came out very good, good quality of material, comfortable, completely waterproof, a little heavy due to the iron cube in the toe but nothing that you can't get used to over time. In this last year the material of the tips began to come off as you can see in the video for both shoes but it didn't go beyond that, what did happen to me is that the sole wore out over time as you can see and small holes were made. due to which water penetrates the shoe and becomes uncomfortable, but beyond that I can continue using them in dry environments without rain.In short, highly recommended if you want good work shoes at a good price.

I only wear this brand of boots since 2007 ive only had to replace 3 sets. These have been through hell and back working in super slippery corosive environments yet these are still going strong. These are the best boots ever they are super comfy but as usual after so long of wearing anything it does wear down but nothing a good insert cant help with but other than that one of the most solid sets of steel toe boots ever in my life.10 stars

Decent for an intermediate level, boot with ruggedness price and protection. The boots tend to be too heavy for high mileage use.Nice design and decently made product.

Sold as "Used" but looked brand new to me with tags still on them. No scratches or scuffs, nicely boxed.Matches my Cat jacket (which I also love and have received a lot of compliments). Wore them the first day with no blisters or extra stiffness. Seemed comfortable. Great value in the features like steel toes protection, full leather uppers, waterproof, slip resistant, electrical protection. I can say they are resistant to slipping as I walked in the snow this morning and felt no slipping.Even at the full regular price, I would conclude that these are a great value.

My husband owns these boots and they are amazing quality he says. Also true to size he didn’t need to size down or up. He actually owns a couple of ones for the house and work. Color is nice too and durable!

Purchased in april, reviewing in June.Pros- light- somewhat breathable, wear loose on hot days-100% water proof- leather is real and decent-cheap, and best bought on sale- I would say it looks good- never had the steel in the toe bite me, but that's my feetCons-NON slip is NOT good, water alone is okay but soap or oils it slips more than other boots I've used- no shank so sucks to curb stomp things, hurts your feet stomping at 100%. Also no shank makes it flexible, in my job that's not needed, and it's bad for posture- Outsole has ripped in spots, (I ripped a hole kicking my kickstarter) its somewhat soft but not terrible, just won't last long-the rubber on the toe has 2 separate threads that hold that rubber on. it chipped away in the first month. Okay because it's glued on so won't just fall off.Overall I wouldn't buy again for the cons I've had but is a okay boot, I think "price to longevity" it falls short on longevity and worth looking for other options. But on sale not a bad option to try out.Big gripes are that it's not non slip for my job,( might be the rubber or how much the tread makes contact. Either way I slip alot in the soap) and that no shank. Also that big tear, I have would make me buy a new set if it was the raining season.

Essa é a segunda vez que compro esse modelo. Muito bom. Adequa perfeitamente aos meus pés. Macia e confortável, não é muito pesada e atende perfeitamente as minhas necessidades. Com relação ao vendedor, ele precisa entender como funciona o Brasil. O produto chegou aqui no Rio de Janeiro e ficou lá na alfandega esperando eu adivinhar que precisaria indicar o meu cpf para que eles dessem continuidade no processo de entrada no Brasil. Tive que pagar os impostos, embora a oferta informasse que a venda seria com os impostos incluídos. Estou aguardando o ressarcimento acontecer. E depois os Correios é que me entregaram o produto com um prazo muito grande e desnecessário. Entre a compra e a entrega foram 45 dias.
