Lionel stuff is expensive....always look for the best deal. The car looks great and is a great addition to our train.

We learned a valuable lesson on train sizes. We purchased the ready to play polar express train for our overly obsessed grandson and he “needed” to add the hobo car. I thought we bought the “O” Gaige but the ready to play size is different and did not fit the O gauge track, sad day for a little guy. This car is beautifully made but sadly was compatible with the set we purchased. We returned this car and are on a search for one that will work. Easy transaction and simple return.

But! I did peek, this is actually for my husband for Christmas, to go along with the O gauge Polar Express set with some other accessories also. He loves trains, loves Lionel, loves the movie Polar Express! It looks very nice, as do the other things I ordered. So I’ll try and comment again after Christmas if I’m allowed to on Amazon. Merry Christmas everyone!
