Works very well. Heating steadily and quickly. Easy to clean up. 100x better than my previous purchase from Dezin which stopped heating after a few uses.

I read the owners manual so I know what to do & proper care. However, don’t out sticky rice cake or taro into the pot too early, as it’ll stick to the bottom. I swapped my original hotpot out for this bc this is stainless steel, no toxic nonstick coating. But the sticking to the bottom was a bit annoying. I had to soak it in soap water then scrub it. There’s also a bulky portion built into the pot, and when something is stuck on that, hard to scrub it off…

This pot arrived yesterday and we tried it right away, and it blew us away. First off, it's all very well constructed. The pot was solid and the plate separating the two sides is connected well. The lid and lid handle feel good and sturdy. Second off, it's well designed. The pot has a small well in the bottom so it can fit on the hot plate without moving around or wobbling. The temperature control is very quick, I left it on low with the lid on until it started simmering, almost boiling, and took the lid off and kept it on low to maintain a simmer while we ate. Finally, this is just so versatile and practical. It's a huge pot that can be used for a larger group of people, but still works for a smaller group in case it's just my husband and I. I'm also able to use the hot plate separately, since we usually follow meals with tea and it is super convenient for keeping the kettle hot so we can steep the tea multiple times without trips back into the kitchen. Overall I would highly recommend this hot pot setup!!

I absolutely love this hotpot.It came neatly packaged. The craftsmanship on the product appears top notch. It does not feel cheap in anyway. The temperature/power dial is very easy to read and understand. The stainless steel is VERY easy to clean. The only thing I had to assemble was the knob that is on top of the glass cover.There is one con. If you want to put the pot back into the box you have to take the knob off of the glass cover first. This was slightly annoying but I will live with it.I did a ShabuShabu style dinner for the firs time with my family. This unit helped with that flawlessly. It kept our soup nice and rumbling. You might have to adjust the dial in the middle of dinner depending on how much soup and your contents are. The dial on the front makes that quick and easy. The 5 ladles it comes with make it simple and easy to fish any contents out. I love the divider because I like my soup spicy while the rest of the family does not.All around great product.

Might have gotten a defective one? One side doesn't heat easily (doesn't easily go above a simmer) and the whole thing stays loud during use. I mean, it works to an okay level, but not happy with it especially at this price point

I was so excited to get this for Mother's Day. Immediately tested it for water leakage, since others had complained about that. I was disappointed to see that some of the water did go from the wet side to the empty side once filled, but I still wanted to give this pot a chance. When I first turned it on, although I had cleaned all parts as instructed, there was a smell of burning and some smoke, but that quickly went away. I think that is common with the first time use of electrical heating components (it was NOT inside the pot, it was from the space between the electric pad and the pot. We brought water to boil once and then dumped it out (to ensure cleanliness), then boiled the water we wanted to use. I am happy to say that there didn't seem to be any significant leakage between the sides once in use. I am SO HAPPY to finally have a hot pot. I really wanted the divided one, as I love spicy but we have smaller children we wanted to use regular broth for as well. If you have children, you must be sure they can't get to the hot pot in use, it is really really hot. We pushed our table against the wall, plugged it in at the very back, and sat them farthest away.
