There is an instance in the book where big boys involve in the snow fight throwing snow balls across, but this peter knew he should not participate in the snow ball fight as he is too small so he decides to make beautiful smiling snowman. I got sturdy board book, loved by my 3.5 year old. Always asks me n number of times to read aloud. My kid likes Peter who explores snowy day to its fullest and dreams about snow. wonderful informative book too beyond the imagination of beautiful snow. There is an instance in the book where big boys involve in the snow fight throwing snow balls across, but this peter knew he should not participate in the snow ball fight as he is too small so he decides to make beautiful smiling snowman. My kid got delighted when he saw Peteres snow sinked footprints correlating it to his water footprints. Its a great book. Must buy book. Thanks amazon for your quality cum timely delivery.

The Joy of Snow!
Like we all like when snow comes and how it cover all the things ,landscape into white sheet of bright light when sun shines through each snow particle. This book teaches who child can learn about the adventure in snow, fun games and snow disappear when melts into water. Such a sweet story where every child goes through same thing in there life once. As to recognize how nature wonderfully create all small and tiny pieces into our Beautiful World. Introduction to Snow and how does snow disappear as it melt into water.Every child is curious to these small things and this book made it so easy with story to understand about snow.

Lovely
Amazing book for children. Very simple story. Indian children may wonder what on earth is snow but the great pics make up for that. My son likes it. And Peter has become his friend.

Simple yet meaningful illustrations and story
My son is 2 years 3 months and absolutely loves this book. The illustrations are simple yet meaningful, something that a child of that age can relate to. The size of the book is perfect for him to hold and flip the sturdy board bookpages on his own.i bought this book while on a discount,hence totally worth the money.

Vor allem durch die Geschehnisse der letzten Wochen in den USA ist uns bewusst geworden, dass wir genau 0 Bücher haben, in denen auch Kinder mit anderen ethnischen Hintergründen vorkommen. Es ist bewiesen, dass die Bevorzugung der eigenen "Farbe" schon im Säuglingsalter beginnt und Kinder auch schon im Kleinkindalter lieber mit Anderen spielen die ihnen am ähnlichsten sind, so beginnt Rassismus. Es ist aber auch schon belegt, dass man dem entgegen wirken kann, indem man Kinder von Anfang an multikulturellen "Möglichkeiten" aussetzt. Gesagt, getan, Bücher, Filme, Spiele gesucht und gekauft die auch endlich mal andere Kinder in den Vordergund rücken. Unser 2 Jähriger sieht endlich auch afrikanische, asiatische, indische, etc. Kinder die ihre Abenteuer erleben und Geschichten erzählen. Er sieht, dass es normal ist, und dass es mehr als "nur" uns gibt. Dieses Buch ist ein kleines Buch mit Kartonseiten die bestimmt viel aushalten. Man kann sie auch schon einem kleinen Kind schenken. Es geht um Peter, der das erste Mal Schnee erlebt und sich Abenteuer vorstellt. Es ist sehr süß gemacht und wir werden definitiv wieder Bücher von diesem Autor kaufen. Unser Sohn liebt Bücher, er hat das Buch bekommen und er hat gleich nach dem fertig lesen wieder zum Anfang geblättert und von Vorne angefangen. Er liebt Peters Abenteuer und ich freue mich schon sehr auf die nächsten Bücher die wir bestellt haben.
