So Easy!
First, let me say that I am not the most wonderful person at fixing things. I was tired of bringing messed up fletching's up to the archery store and having them fixed though. My kids seem to have advanced skill at messing up fletching's on their arrows. I purchased this because of the review's. I needed something that even I could do. I am extremely happy with this purchase. My husband did the first few arrows and showed me how to use this. It was so easy. We bought a stripper to get the glue from the previous fletching off of the arrow. We also bought Bohning Fletch Tite glue. With this you just snap the arrow in place, put the new fletching(s) in the groove, put glue on it and cap it, then move the piece on the bottom. After just a few minutes the arrow will be ready, while waiting you can get the next arrow ready. My 10 year old wanted to try it and she watched me once and did an arrow on her own. That is how easy this is. I not only would recommend this, I have. Even our archery coach was impressed with how easy this is to use. So, thank you other reviewers for helping me make the decision to purchase this.

Works just fine, Good Bargain
The box arrived in terrible condition. Look's like it was absolutely put through the ringer on the way to me. The actual fletcher works just fine. It feels incredibly cheap (flimsy and brittle), but I have watched my local pro shop use them over and over again so they clearly hold up. Definitely need to read the instructions. It seems simple to use but you could break it pretty easily if you pull on it wrong. For the price, it is a good buy.

Works exactly as promised, but read the directions
New to fletching, and, while I'm probably not saving all that much on a dozen or so arrows twice a year, I enjoy this sort of stuff, so I made the modest investment. Steep learning curve, for this dolt, because I missed the bit of instructions that tell you how to align the arrow nock bar in the base with the slots (in fairness to the reviewer, this pearl of wisdom is on the right hand side of the page and not included in the main text - maybe it was added later?). In any event, after screwing up a few vanes, I made some serviceable arrows. Then I discovered how to align the slots and things improved considerably - new fletching is easy, and I can now replace/repair just one three vanes with no difficulty.Because I'm new at this, and exactly as they warn against, I used too much glue in my first attempts and ended up with some rather unsightly shafts. They shoot just fine, and I'm not embarrassed to look like an amateur when, in fact, I am an amateur, but I'll probably get around to cleaning them up anyway. All in all, this jig works very well and is easily mastered - for you, perhaps fifteen minutes and one or two attempts; for me, longer, but not all night, either. And if you screw up, that's what that scraper tool is for. Do it again. Not a big deal. Works for me, and I recommend it strongly.

Dog Water
This thing is the biggest piece of dog water ever thought up by the archery industry. I would rather replace my toilet paper with sandpaper than be forced to fletch an arrow with this thing. If you paid me $100 for every arrow I fletched with it, I’d have $0 and my mental sanity.

this is a great fleatcher
this fletches perfectly just like a professional. my arrows look better than they did when I got them fletched from a bow shop im never going to have some bow shop take 3 weeks to fletch my arrows ever again. it takes about 65 minutes to fletch 6 arrows. this fletching jig works great. just make sure you get the nock lined up in the slot its supposed to go into if you don't pay attention you could get it set up off set and your arrow wont fletch correctly. and the pins are a little hard to get out when changing arms. it works great with 5 inch feathers and you can use 4 inch vanes or even 2 inch vanes. if you want to do feathers and 2 inch vanes I recommend getting this and the mini arms for the 2 inch just because the mini arms have a gnarly helical. but this does good 2 inch vanes as it is now.

It works but messy
It's ok for couple arrows, but the glue just gets everywhere in it! All in the joints that articulate an all in the crack where the vanes go. I just took some oil an put it on joints an the vane cracks to prevent them sticking. I was able to do 6 arrows though. Next day pry apart the arms .

Easy to use
Very easy to use. All you need are vanes or feathers, glue and a primer pen and of course the an already cleaned arrow shaft. Just place the vanes or feathers in the slits, primer, glue, place cap, lock bottom and in a few minutes you’ll have a re-fletched arrow. I shot the arrows and they flew nice.
