Greatest fletching tool ever invented
Greatest fletching tool ever invented! I had one of the old ones that only did one vane at a time. It took a month of Sundays to do a dozen shafts. Now its about an hour. Great product!

It doesn’t fletch the bolts the same as Ravin bolts
The fletching tool works good but it fletches the bolts an inch and a half shorter than the Ravin bolts! Good fletching tool otherwise!!

Ease of use
I haven’t used this one yet but I have the one for regular arrows & really like it.

A lot of helical twist
Would not work for my crossbow. To much helical. Vanes rub on the rail. I had to purchase straight offset arms and install them before I got this to work. NOW it’s great

Consistently bad results
I use carbon xpress pile driver bolts fletched with 3 blazer vanes. I have to remove the moon nocks in order to keep from putting the vanes on the nock itself due to the vanes being placed so far back toward the nock end of the shaft. There is no way to center the shaft in the jig while you close the glued vanes onto the shaft. The jig will not place the vanes evenly spaced around the shaft. I have been averaging 1 good fletched bolt out of every four to six in the batch. I have wasted enough vanes trying to get enough bolts to hunt with that I could have fletched the dozen several times over. The ones that turned out satisfactory fly very true, but the cost in wasted vanes and hassle is a bit much. If this is a true representation of the jig, and not a fluke lemon, I would recommend buying something else to fletch your crossbow bolts. I had high hopes for this jig, but it looks like I'll have to find what I'm looking for in a different setup.

EZ for first time user like me
It worked as advertised and I was able to do a very professional looking job. My bolts look great and they shoot great. Its durability has not been tested yet but it looks like it will hold up well - time will tell.

Cross bolt flethchings do NOT fit in this. Cross ...
Cross bolt flethchings do NOT fit in this. Cross bolt flethchings are longer than the slits. Ended up giving it to a friend that had a bow
