Cow & Gate1 First Infant Baby Milk Powder Formula From Birth, 800g

We bought a couple of tubs of this powder milk in readiness for our baby to start drinking formula milk. We went to open up one of the tubs and it looks like it has already been opened (please see the attached photos). On closer inspection, the plastic catch on the lid has already been broken off and then taped back on. The foil protective cover inside the tub is slightly open and powder milk is visible. It looks like this tub has previously been opened and then resealed. We are extremely disappointed by this as we do not feel we can use this powder milk to feed our baby in case it is contaminated. We have tried to find a way to contact the seller for a refund but we are only given the option of returning the item which is an inconvenience in the middle of a pandemic.

Unfortunately, like the other person who reviewed, this formula does not suit our child as they have changed it. Baby started having diarrhoea and extremely green poos. We’re going to try a different brand. The powder no matter how much you shake it still stays lumpy and there are alot of bubbles. The milk itself is very frothy. Not good because it gives baby gas. This didnt happen before.

pretty disappointed, tried to click a picture of the expiry date (the camera feature does not works) which is April 2022 compared to a new pack which I bought from store having expiry as May 2023.Old stock clearance by Amazon and its sellers. (Pretty bad especially when you are selling new born baby products)

I'm a mum of 7 my youngest is 4 months old and has been very very ill turns out she had campylobacter! And from this milk environmental health have taken the milk and had it tested! Not at all happy please avoid as this made my baby very very ill! And she was in hospital and passing blood!

I bought 3. 2 had broken seals and the powder doesn’t dissolve properly. It looks like curdled milk. I make bottles as per instructions and have used this brand for 4 months now. All 3 boxes did the same. What a waste of my money!!!!!

Purchase these as a new mum and unfortunately they have made endless clumpy bottles with milk products extremely blocked together causing my child have massive upset and extremely bad wind due to sucking the bottle to hard to try and get through the clumps, unfortunately bulk buying has not gone in our favour.

Arrived like this with no lid...looked to see if it was in the box and was damaged in transit and it wasn't even there.

I opened the tub I didn't even realise that I could have touched the live maggot. I nearly had a mini heart attack when I realised there was something moving on the lid... I had to throw away the whole tub and now I'm paranoid to order again. Just be careful.
