I have a Airtel VDSL Broadband connection which runs at 40Mbps over copper cabling. This router is compatible with VDSL connections and works well. The Connection is also much more stable than the 777VR1 Router which Airtel gives. The wifi strength is also better (Inspite of not having any external antennas).It is fairly easy to setup and configure - you will need the PPP login settings from your Service provider - you can call up your broadband service provider for the same. It took me around 5 min to set it up phyiscally and configure the wifi and the broadband connection details. Overall happy with the product - been using it for 2 days now.

There are some reviews that this may not work for other service providers. so keep that in mind. I bought it is as a replacement for Airtel Broadband as my router HG630a got fried. This HG630v2 looks almost the same, minor differences in ports. The software is a little different, I felt this one to be better, easier to configure, with all security features of a basic router. Otherwise, I did not see any v2 enhancements. Got it for 999, no complaints.

It's good if you're an Airtel user and you want to use it as a main router. For all other purposes, it will disappoint, particularly if you change any of the internet settings.

Installation guide should be with proper procedure which we need to take while installing the modem with landline, lan cable present in is short and also charger length

Configuration is a piece of cake.just enter username and password and you are all set. All my wireless printer, access control, static IP for devices and other stuff were setup so easily. The beetel and binatone that they provide are crap. This is the best modem for airtel.

it's good and easy to install

This item is programmed to work only with Airtel broadband. This fact was hidden. I spent a lot of time and effort and consulted experts trying to get it to work with my BSNL broadband but failed, return window closed in the meanwhile. So the product is useless as far as I am concerned. This review is meant to help others avoid losing money.
