My son - who's afraid to sleep in total darkness - and I really love this little light. It's adorable, and he sleeps hugging it. It's oddly nice to touch since it's ultra smooth and soft, and the colors are gorgeous. No idea what the "breathing" feature is - there's no sound, only light. Anyhow, the reason we took off a star is that the internal charge port came loose the second week we had it. So we got another one. I just wish that hadn't happened - minor hassle, no big deal. The design is poor, though, because the angle is not good for the charger to fit into the device - which I imagine is what caused the problem in the first place.Update - the port on the second one is coming loose even though I've been ULTRA careful with it. Sometimes the light will charge, sometimes not - I have to duct tape it in place every night. Total bummer. A month seems to be about what I can eek out of this light. Such a shame - we really love it, but I won't buy it again

So far so good, it helps to wake me up. The only real minus, the loss of a star, is its inability to turn down the volume on any of the sound options without going louder first, i.e.: the level is 04 but you have to go through 05-15 to get back to 00-04, which can be really ear-splitting and shocking even to people who don't have great hearing. Before anyone points out "just use the plus or minus signs on the face of the clock", those only change the station or the nature sound, not the volume...believe me I've done that, my whole effort reminded me of the The Iron Giant while he was trying to shut that car horn off in the junk yard (right down to my muffling the clock under a pillow while I quickly hit the volume button to get to 00 again). I hope future models come with the ability to adjust the volume up and down with two buttons, not just a button that can only go up to get to down.

Beautiful, lightweight nightlight that's perfect in our Grandchildren's nursery. We bought this to put in the bedroom we've transformed into a nursery in our home and it's a wonderful addition the light can be set to a cool white or a bright brilliant orange while unplugged or a glowing blue when plugged in. The design and detail of this is excellent the ridges , depressions and flat surfaces truly reflect what we see when looking at the moon so it's not only functional as a night light it can also be used to teach children about the moon the stand is solid wood that goes together very easily it has magnets on the ends to keep it together to hold the light. Both the materials and the craftsmanship are first class the light is very lite and tough with the plug and switch built into the bottom of the light the control is simple to use it's a touch sensitive switch that turns the light on and off as well as changing the color of the light this is bright enough for a night light but not bright enough to keep a child awake or bother them. We love the Moon light but more important our Grandkids love it and look forward to use turning it on kids learn so much from their surroundings and we try to get them things that are fun and educational when we can and this 3D Moon Mapped light covers both the fun and educational aspects we look for.

The light pivots on the bse so you can tilt the light to shine sideways. You can choose from a strobe effect of different colors, or soft movement of blue, green, and a variety of muti-colors. It has a micro-sd card slot. It comes with a micro-usb power cord but doesn’t come with the wall charger It also comes with an mini-aux jack for hooking up your phone’s music to the lamp. (It doesn’t have bluetooth.) ***And just to clarify, you can’t use the micro-usb port for connecting your music from your phone. This port is for powering the lamp. You have to use the provided mini-aux jack and plug it into your phone and lamp.The remote control takes 2 AAA batteries which isn’t included. The remote worked at a distance of 15 ½ feet away from the lamp. The remote allows you to power the lamp on and off, change the volume of the speaker, switch to different lamp sounds, turn off the speaker, switch to different light colors, turn on the light movement or switch it off. (You can’t change the speed of the movement.) With the remote you can also set it on a timer to switch off after 1, 2 or 4 hours, however, you don’t have this function directly on the lamp dashboard.Long press the button on the lamp to turn it on and off. The speaker is best for background noise on lower volume when you want something to lull you to sleep. It’s not a high quality speaker that I would want to use solely for music. I think it’s best to use with your favorite sleeping app. It does have some sleep sounds built in such as birds, bubbling cauldron and birds, crickets and ocean waves with sea gulls. (My favorite was the cricket noise. My least favorite was the ocean with the seagulls because the same sound replays every 5 seconds with an obvious break in the ocean sound.)

So I only received this today, the box and packaging looked cheap and I thought "oh goodness, what have I brought" but I have been nothing but impressed!The functions all work as described and the light seems quite strong and can be seen on my wall even though it's day light. The colours are lovely and the remote works well too. The only downfall is it's USB powered but everyone who has an apple product will have a plug for this anyway!I have shown a few of the colours on the photos against a wall in day light, the photos do NOT do it justice! The movement and the colours are much better in person.There is a flash mode that I personally wouldn't use but that's a bit crazy and a slow changing mode which is nice.There are a small range of sounds that for me are a little too repetitive on some but I didn't buy it for the sounds so I'm not going to mark down for that, saying that there are a few really nice ones.On the remote photo you can see the timer options and an option to turn of the rotation so it's static.All in all I'm really impressed for the price.Let's hope this thing lasts and keeps up the good impression :)

I bought two of these, the children love them. They love how you can change colour and how the waves move and can be static. Extra bonus as I didn't realise it played sounds and the kids think that part I'd fantastic! Simple to use. Great product.

Amazing item. Lovely light effects. Sound effects but I was expecting it to come with a plug not just a USB cable so had to rush out and buy one quickly.
